I just got home from my uni test and wait for 3 days for the result to come out. My phone ding and I read a message from Jacob.
Hello, babe. Sorry. Don't get mad at me. I wish you a ton of luck for your uni, OK? Do your best, and let God do the rest. Do reply me when you get this text ok, love you.
I'm done with the test. And I just got home. It is ok, I'm not mad. Its ok.
I replied.
Then after that he decided to call me and we talk a lot more.

3 days after.
I got selected to the uni.
"Congratulation, babe!" Jacob said from the skype call.
"Thank you so much." I said.
"You know , you are going to meet so many new people, don't forget about me, Ok?" He said.
I looked at him, "of course I won't forget you, love." I said.
"Thank you," he said. "I'm so busy with work, you know. I've been here like since 4 A.M." he said.
"Goodluck babe." I said.
"Thank you." He said.
"I love you, babe." I said. And see he smiled.
"I love you so much babe, you wouldn't have a clue." He said.
"Really? I don't believe in you. Hahaha," I laughed.
"You are so cute. I love you, tapte," he said.
"I love you more, tienci." (Tienci known as Hakka adjective similar to tapte or stupid in a joking way.)
"I hate to cut the call off, but work calls up again. I'll talk to you more OK later babe?" He said.
I nodded my head. "OK, love." I replied.

The next day
Good morning babe. I texted Jacob.
Morning, love. What you doing up so early? He asked.
Yeah, gotta go to the uni and do the registration and stuff. I replied to him.
Oh, sounds like a long day. But good luck babe. He replied.
Thank you sayang. ( sayang known as love in Bahasa Indonesia) I replied.
Anytime, sayang. He replied.

I have a bad news.
I texted Jacob
Woah, what is it?
I am scared that we cannot meet on 17th of December. I got uni that day.
I texted him.
Woah, got not leave e? Or Christmas holiday? He replied.
We still can, but maybe with you coming to my hometown instead? I replied.
Then got chance to meet already. How can I visit your hometown but I'll be in hotel all day? He replied.
I'll try my best, we can hang out too, of course. Sorry babe. I texted him.
No hope for this relationship tho. He replied.
Why did you say that there is no hope? Of course there are. I replied.
Cause I can't meet you. I need to see you. But your uni will always come first and more important to you. He replied.
Then let's just break up! I text
Why is it so easy to say let's break up? Does this relationship is not important to you? He replied
Cause you said that there is no hope for this relationship. Then what is the point again? And you think that I don't know? How you are still in love with your ex?
Ok, then let's break up. That is why I suggest you to better lets get together on your birthday cause by then I would have felt a lot better.
Tears clouded my eyes 12.52PM August 10th 2016. I officially break up with Jacob. It was so short of time. But he actually left so many memories to me.
Are we going to stop talking to? He texted me.
I don't know. I just feel so hurt with all this. I replied.

Writing this again brought me back to August 2016.. how gloomy was it back then. But now, I can remembered and wrote about that with a smile on my face. He'll always and forever hold a place in my heart..
