Friday Night

I head over to Henry's with Anika in Jackson's sweats. I pull my hair into a very messy ponytail. The sweatshirt smells amazing like a mix of mint, vanilla, and cologne as the strongest scent.

When we get to Henry's he opens the door and greets me with a hug. I've never even met him but it feels like we've been friends forever. "You gonna let us in?" Anika questions.

"Of course" he says while chuckling.

I step into the house and don't see anyone there. "Follow me" he instructs. Anika and I listen and follow.

"Down here" he says and opens a door revealing a set of stairs. We walk down and I let out a gasp. The basement is huge. On one side there's a huge projector and screen with reclining chairs creating an in-home theater. On the opposite side there is a pool table and a kitchen island with a mini fridge and bar stools. There's three doors against the wall.

"Okay" he says, "that ones the bathroom, that ones a guest bedroom, and that one is a storage room" he says as he points to each door.

As soon as he's done with his mini tour I get a text from Jackson.

Hey I'll be there in five, can't wait to see you again

Soon Jackson and two guys let themselves in along with a gorgeous girl. Henry introduces me to Harry, Tommy, and Addison.

I smile at each of them and they all seem very friendly. I look over at Jackson and he's beaming at me. He walks over holding his arms out for a hug. I happily fall into his embrace and he whispers "you look cute in my clothes". I smile and we pull away. He shifts to stand next to me. I see him drop his arms basically begging me to hold his hand. I find it and he gives my hand a squeeze.

Meanwhile everyone was talking and discussing what movie to watch. Someone suggested Up. "Can we watch something else?" I ask.

"Why?" Tommy asks.

"It always makes me cry" I admit.

"I'm right here" Jackson whispers to me.

"So Up it is?" Anika asks, noticing what he whispered to me.

Henry goes to get the movie on and I take this opportunity to drag Jackson to the pool table to talk.

I didn't even have time to say anything before he asks, "will you go out with me?

"YES!" I say a little to enthusiastically. He laughs and we take our seats in the chairs.

He holds my hand the whole movie and to walk me outside. "Wait let me go back inside so I can change and give these back" I tell him.

"No it's okay, keep for now" he says. It makes my heart leap.

"Thank you" I say. He grins and pulls me close to him. He holds me in a tight hug and I can hear his heart beating. It's calming and makes me beam.

"I'll text you" he says.

"Okay bye" I wave and walk to the car.
