"taehyungie!!"
taehyung grins happily as he saw his bestfriend running towards him.
"j-jiminie hyung!! i missed you!"
tae giggled and went to hug jimin tightly with the latter hugging his small frame back. he just came back from school.
"i missed you too. i'll just get changed tae."
jiminie hyung said and went inside. taehyung smiled at the thought of him studying hard to pursue his dreams. they've been friends since the day he applied as a barista like him here. his parents are in busan and he's working here to help them.
i wonder what does having parents and studying in school feels like.
he sighed sadly, sitting down on his favorite chair in the counter of the cafe.
he wanted to study in the same school as jimin's but he dont have enough money for it. he dont wanna ask jin for help cause having a simple apartment from him and working there is enough.
"it's okay taehyung ah.. you'll get to study in a school someday."
"you don't go to school?"
taehyung gasped and stood up from the sudden deep voice. looking at his front, he saw jeongguk staring at him with his brows knitted together.
"i-i- w-what coffee d-do you want, sir?"
he gulped nervously and prepared the screen to type down his order.
"just the usual. iced latte."
he heard him said and he nodded, typing down the iced latte and wrote his name on the cup before proceeding to make it with his back facing the older.
"how old are you? i'm guessing you're the same age as me?"
jeongguk said behind him.
"s-seventeen. sir."
taehyung mumbled shyly while busy making his iced latte. jeongguk hummed before he spoke again.
"don't call me sir. i want jeongguk more."
he placed the cup of iced latte on the counter in front of him, placing a bunny cookie beside it.
"here's your iced latte si- i m-mean, j-jeongguk."
he stuttered while looking down, too flustered to look at jeongguk's burning gaze.
"why are you looking down? do i look scary?"
jeongguk sounded hurt and tae gasps softly, immediately looking at his face.
w-what-
he was pouting while examining the iced latte and bunny shaped cookie.
h-he's so cute..
"i-it's not like that! a-actually you looked like a handsome bunny and-"
he clasped his hand on his mouth as those words came out from his mouth, his cheeks turning into deep shade of red. he looked away as he heard jeongguk's deep chuckles.
"yeah i know i am but i didn't expect you to say it."
jeongguk sips on the coffee, watching his actions.
"tae! i'm back- jeongguk?"
he heard jimin said whose now looking at jeongguk.
"oh jimin. nice to see you here."
"you know taehyung?
do they know each other? taehyung thought.
"i just met him yesterday. nothing special. i'll get going now."
jeongguk left the cafe with the cookie and coffee on his hands. taehyung frowns at jeongguk's words.
nothing special..
"are you and jeon, friends?"
jimin asks beside taehyung whose looking down on his fingers.
"i-i don't know hyung.."
he sadly answered then just decided to make coffee for the other customers, jimin watching him with a frown.
"do you like him, tae?"
jimin starts typing down the orders on the screen taehyung still pouting.
i do like him, a lot.
"n-no, i don't."
taehyung mumbled while busy making the frappé.
"sure you don't."
jimin snickered then smiles at the customers.

jeongguk laid down on his bed followed by an exhausted sigh.
why does i kept thinking about taehyung. he thought, staring at the celing.
grabbing his phone from his pants pocket, he logged in on his instagram account to see plenty of notifications as always. he rolled his eyes and checks his dms. many wanting for him to reply to them or from his friends but one dm caught his attention. it was taehyung's and he opens it to read the messages.
