「 3rd person's pov 」

after jeongguk left the cafe, taehyung decided to just read his favorite book to cheer himself up from the raven man's words in his free time. the boy is learning more and more about his favorite subject in the cafe using the book he just borrowed from jimin. the book is about math.
"so this is how to solve the problem.. okay i get it."
he giggled and grabs his pen, trying to answer the given question in the book. he wrote the question in his pink notebook before answering it. he didn't want to ruin the book as he don't own it. it's jimin's.
"waah! am i right?"
he re-reads the book again and giggled as he was right, feeling proud of himself.
taehyung really loves math since he was still studying. he would always have the highest grade in their class and his math teacher always compliments him because of it, of course some of his classmates envies him and bullies him. but taehyung doesn't mind it. he keeps saying to himself that they're jealous and needs to try harder to beat his high grades.
"jiminie! look i got it right again!"
taehyung happily showed jimin his sticky notes with his answer on it, making the older smile and ruffle taehyung's hair.
"i'm so proud of you, tae. if i can just really make you study in school again.. i will do it."
jimin sighs and arranged the cookies in the cookie rack. taehyung gasps and shook his head, hugging his friend.
"it's okay minnie! you being here is already enough!"
he happily said with a wide grin on his face while still hugging his friend. jimin giggles and hugs back his friend.
the younger is really such an angel to him. he can still remember the first time he laid his shoes in the cafe's floor. taehyung greeted him with a bright boxy smile and he knows already that they will be good friends.
- flashback 3 month ago -
jimin stared at the sign jin's cafe written on the top of the place. he held the metal handle of the door which is made of glass and pushed it open. he looks around the surroundings. the cafe is really pretty and is pastel themed, making jimin smile. he loves pastel colors as well.
he walked towards the counter where an unfamiliar barista is busy making the orders of the customers. he cleared his throat to gain the barista's attention.
"excuse me. i'm here to look for mr. kim seokjin."
he said while looking at the boy. the barista gasped and smiled ever so sweet and brightly to him.
"you're the one who's applying as a barista like me? welcome! my name is kim taehyung!"
taehyung said and extended his hand for a handshake which jimin gladly accepted, shaking hands with the golden haired boy.
"i'm jimin, park jimin. i'm here for the interview."
jimin smiles back to taehyung whose still smiling to him.
"jinnie hyung is inside his office. come follow me."
taehyung suddenly held jimin's hand, again, causing the older to gasp a bit. he didn't expect taehyung to hold his hand like this like they're childhood friends. the younger pulled him inside towards jin's office to start the interview.

jimin smiles softly at the memories with the golden brown haired boy.
"i should tell jin hyung about this!"
taehyung happily grabs his phone from his pocket. he was about to dial jin's number when he saw a notification from instagram. he opens the app and gasped, seeing a message from jungkook.

he blushes and jumps happily, catching jimin's attention.
"yah tae. what are you doing?"
jimin looks at him suspiciously. the boy is always happy but he never saw him to be this happy. it's just new to him.
"nothing, minnie." taehyung giggled and decided to reply to the older, the soft smile never leaving his face.

he grins and puts down his phone, decided to just wait until his jin hyung arrive and tell him the new he was about to say through earlier.
