Rinto's POVIt was a dark and peaceful night, the house was so quiet that no one lives here. My mother was out for work though, she will come back later but late. I was alone and worried about Rin. She didn't come home yet ,maybe she's still at school.
I decided to get some snacks in our fridge or maybe cook for dinner since its seven in the evening. I didn't care that it was dark but all I can do was approached to the kitchen and opened up the fridge. Somehow I wonder where Haku went, our maid. I didn't care how many maids in this mansion but all I care was learning everything by myself so when I have a family, I could do anything.
I pulled out some ingridients to cook some dinner. As when I closed the fridge. I turned to see Haku, standing by the entrance. She really looked so beautiful with that maid outfit, I could just drag her to my room and have fun but I can't do that since she doesn't have time, and I didn't know if I had a feeling for her.
"Mr. Kagamine, maybe I should do that" She said, grabbing the ingridients from my arms and placed it nearer the stove. I locked my eyes on her, she looked like a mother somehow.
She started dicing and some other stuffs to get ready for cooking. After she cooked. She carried a tray while I was sitting down at the table. She put it down and aroma took over around me. The food was mushroom soup, sunny side up and sausage with rice, don't forget, orange juice as always. It was all simple. Haku took a deep sighed and began to spoke, "Where's Ms. Kagamine?" she was mentioning about Rin, my little sister. I shrugged and began to eat, worrying about my little sister. She acted that way when she was back there in elementary, a past that we seperated school. She lived with my father but this year she's living with us and the reason is that ,Rin ran away from our dad. She didn't want to stay with our father though, our father's a rich man and he usually busy working just to gain more money.
Money was all he care and let him be like that ,my mother and I ran away from him too, now he didn't know where could we live.
"Just cook her some too" I told her while eating. Haku nodded and got back to the kitchen to cook something for Rin and then suddenly the door bell rang as I stood up, opening the door to see Rin by the gates. She just came home today, what was wrong with her?
"Rin" I called her. She opened the gates and stepped three inches away from the gate and closed it behind her "Rinto, sorry for being late" she apologize, continuing her walk until she reached the entrance. I stepped aside to give her space, she walked in and headed to the dining room. I checked on it to see everything was all serve as I told.
"Ms. Kagamine, welcome back" Haku said and bowed. "Thank you. Haku, you better rest don't worry I'll do the dishes" Rin said to her but Haku obeyed her words. Rin started to eat. I took a seat and continued eating. There was a silence all over again and it took long enough to keep our mouth shut.
Rin drank her orange juice the same as I. We stood up and she greeted goodnight but it wasn't a good night for me. I looked at her, seriously and she looked like she knew what's the meaning of this.
"What's your problem?" I asked coldly.
She didn't spoke and seconds later, she shook her head and walked towards the stairs. She doesn't want to talk about this. "It's none of your business and not your problem,Rinto" she said while walking up the stairs. I really want to know what's her problem but as a big brother. I should know why she acted like wanted to be alone and I'm not used to it.
"Rin, get back here!" I yelled, following her.
"Stay right where you are, Rinto!" she yelled back, hearing a hard slam of the door which making me stop. "Rin.." I didn't know why she acted like that, she has problems and I need to know. I hope she doesn't plan to suicide.
