A/N: This is a fanfic also involving Pokémon, so if you are unfamiliar with several terms here, I apologise. If you want to proceed, I wish you the best of luck.

This would serve as my birth anniversary tribute to our favourite Libero...

"My Eevee is the coolest ever!"

"No! My Machop is the coolest ever! Deal with it"

"You won't know cool even after being slugged by an Ice Punch! No offense to your Machop, but my Eevee is cool anytime! Ha!"

"If your definition of cool is looking like an overstuffed rodent, then your Eevee clearly looks like one. But, cool is when you pose, strike an angle, and get the audience to swoon!"

It's been like this for minutes already.

All I asked was for someone to buy ice.

How did that turn to this, I have no idea.

Hi.

My name is [Male Name]. I'm a Pokémon trainer from the Tooku region and it's been a while since I've seen my childhood friends Ryuu and Yuu especially because I left our small town when I was 10 to start my Pokémon journey.

Despite being the same age, they decided to stay for a while and try to woo this one florist in town.

I don't know how that turned out, but after six years of travelling, I finally got to set foot again in my hometown, only to see the both of them finally deciding to try the journey themselves.

As help, I assisted them in catching their first Pokémon. At the same time, I was on a long vacation from my Pokémon-related job, so I thought I'd accompany them for a while.

I didn't expect I'd have to bear hearing an argument over something completely relative.

"[Male Name]!" Yuu screamed as if I was miles away and looked straight at me. "You tell him that my Eevee here is the coolest ever!" He demanded while cuddling the fluffy ball in his arms.

"No, [Male Name]!" Ryuu rejected. "You tell Noya-san over here that he has to get his eyes checked and see how cool my Machop is!" He said with a smug of confidence while his Pokémon flexed his muscles beside his trainer's legs.

I didn't sign up for this...

I sighed before replying.

"Guys. As much as I enjoy you two being proud of your starters, you two have been fighting over this ever since the start of your journey five days ago! Look!"

I quickly shuffled for my Pokégear and switched it to a photo gallery. After scrolling for a few seconds, I showed the two a picture of a certain neighbour I had aside from Yuu.

"Chi-chan already has his first badge! And he just started two days ahead of the both of you. If you continue dilly dallying here, even Narita-kun who just started yesterday would have the two of you biting his dust."

And they clammed up.

And this gave me time to massage my unexpectedly stressed forehead.

"I'm not rushing the both of you. What I am doing here is just to remind you two that you are on a journey. You both decided on this, that the both of you would become the first ever Champion duo in the region and in the entire world. That won't come if you idiots bicker here like there's no tomorrow."
