'Happiness is not what happens to you, it's a mindset.'

She can feel her hammering heartbeat in her chest and the butterflies going crazy in her stomach as she rushes in through the main gate, hoping to reach the class before the bell rings when suddenly she remembers another thing to do within the span of approximately four minutes.
' I need to collect my schedule first!'
She knows where she needs to go. She remembers the way to the office section beside the principal's room from her last visit a week ago so hopefully she won't need to approach a random student.
Rushing her way past the crowd of students in the hallway y/n manages to reach the office without any problem. She wipes the sweat off of her forehead using the back of her hand as she walks over to the counter which had a sign saying 'help center' attached above.
"H-"
" What do you want?" The man behind the counter looks up from his phone.
With his eyelids half closed and feet propped up on the desk, he looks as if he's ready for his second nap of the day. And it's not even 8 o'clock yet.
Y/n gets a bit surprised at the unenthusiastic behavior of the man but doesn't show it. After all, boredom can indeed tire you out. Who is she to judge?
"Woah, good morning to you too, sir. I need the class schedule for 2-A."
The man raises an eyebrow at her. "A new transfer student, huh?" He puts his feet down and sits up straight. "Look kid, I'm tired, overworked, extremely sleep deprived and bored. I don't know what a good morning is and neither. do. I. care." He gives her a half-hearted smile as he rummages through his drawer before pulling out a paper and handing it to her.
"Tough day?" She smiles at him before taking the paper and running her eyes over it.
' Room 207.'
"Tough life." The man sighs shaking his head disappointedly.
"I'm sorry to hear that," she lets out a sigh. "and I would've wanted to stay a bit longer and hear about it but I gotta go, I'm already late. Have a nice day!"
She is about to dash off when he asks "Hey, didn't you say you're in 2-A?"
"Uh, yeah." She says extending the last part making it seem more like a question.
The man laughs a little. "Then you might as well take a little nap. I know your homeroom teacher. He is famous for a lot of reasons and one of them is that he's never in time for class."
Y/n can't help but frown at that. ' So all that rush was in vain?'
She groans before folding the paper in her skirt pocket. "I guess I'll do that. Have a nice day." She lets out a sigh once again as she walks towards her classroom on the second floor.
On her way up the stairs, she could swear she saw a figure run past her down the stairs, whose features had striking similarity with Taehyung's. The next second, he was gone. And now, standing in front of her new classroom, she has a sudden epiphany that she never actually asked Taehyung of which school he goes to.
'The guy I saw could actually be Taehyung!'Making a mental note to text him about it later, y/n takes a deep breath and exhales, trying to calm down her nerves.
Turning the knob, she slowly opens the door to the classroom and peaks in to see that only a few students were present in the classroom even though it's almost time for class. All of them either minding their own business or joking around with their seatmates.
