•WARNING: VULGAR LANGUAGE•The four parked by the side of the road and got out, they were going to walk the rest of the way. The quarry wasn't far but it was just up the hill. Patrick took it to himself to piss off henry some more, he walked up behind him and stepped onto the back of his shoe. Henry's heel slipped out from the back of his shoe as he turned his head to glare at Patrick. He mumbled simple nothings as he fixed his shoe again. Patrick sped walked in front of Henry quickly to set him off more, Henry huffed and try to catch up. Victor and belch were a few feet behind them, ignoring their dumb stunts. Victor was talking about some new music he found and suggesting it to belch. Finally, they all made their way to the quarry. Patrick sat himself down by the cliff and looked at the water below. He was expecting Henry to come sit next to him as always since he was quite the clingy friend, but who knows? Victor found a spot and sat down as well, he quickly became distracted by some rocks on the ground. He got distracted really easy sometimes, no one really knew why but they decided to deal with it anyways. Henry finally gave in and sat on the cliff spot next to Patrick. His leg jerked out and kicked Patrick, that caused him to snicker a bit. Patrick on the other hand, wasn't laughing. "Ugh you're such a bitch." Patrick flicked him between the eyes. "Quit being a dick lolli." He snapped at him. "The fuck is a dick lolli?" Victor chimed in. "Uhh I don't know to be honest, My dad just calls me that when he's mad." Patrick shrugged. Henry just rolled his eyes and laid back on the gravel. He stared up the sky and began to zone out for a bit. The boy's feelings grew stronger each day. He didn't know why or how but he didn't like it at all. He felt himself wanting his best friend more and more. It was like he craved touch of some sort, but not just by anyone. He clutched the sleeve of the flannel as he stared up at the clouds. "Don't think about it don't think about it don't think about it." He said to himself quietly while taking deep breaths. Victor and Patrick were arguing with belch over which of their favorite bands was better. Henry was in his own world, not a super holy one either. His thoughts were driving him absolutely mad. Why did his brain make him think like this. Henry felt like he needed to wash his whole mind out with bleach, his brain kept reverting back to Patrick half undressed when they went swimming. "Stop it." Henry thought to himself. "Your father would kill you if you caught you thinking like this." He thought again. No matter how hard henry tried, the thoughts didn't subside. They only got worse. The more he tried to stop thinking about it, the worse it got. Why wouldn't they stop?!
He let out a defeated sigh as the thoughts just kept coming. Each one more unholy than the last. Henry sat up quickly and blinked quickly a few times. He looked around a bit to find the rest of the group staring back at him. "Shit." He thought to himself. His eyes jumped around the group to everyone but Patrick, He couldn't look at Patrick since his thoughts still lingered. "You alright man?" Patrick asked him. "You were zoned out for quite a bit." He added. "Uh.. uh yeah sure. Yeah yeah I'm fine." Henry relied quickly with no hesitation. He tapped his finger against the gravel nervously. "fuck fuck fuck fuck..!" Henry mumbled under his breath. His gazed wandered away from the group and then to the water below. He thought some more, mainly about what would happen if anyone found out he had feelings for his best friend. Henry didn't wanna like him but he couldn't help it. He was coming to the conclusion that.. yes, he was in love with Patrick Hockstetter. That doesn't mean he would be okay with this conclusion, if anything he was angry with himself. The same question kept coming to his mind. Why?
Henry huffed and leaned back again. "What're you stupid fucks going on about?" He said now tuning into their conversation. "We're arguing about whether metal or rock is better, and metal is OBVIOUSLY the superior genre." Patrick said as he shot a glare at victor. "It is not! Rock is waaaaaay better. Why do you like metal?? It makes my damn ears bleed!" Victor defended. "You're just a baby. You can't handle hardcore stuff you twink." Patrick bickered back. "I can too handle hardcore stuff!" Victor snapped. "Uh huh.., sure bub. I'll let you believe whatever you want." Patrick smirked a bit since he knew he would win the argument. Henry took his attention to Patrick, locking his gaze on him. Patrick turned his head to look at Henry as victor rambled on about his side of the argument. Henry was gonna look away but panicked and couldn't. But Patrick didn't mind, he bit his lip a bit then looked at Henry one last time. Henry became flushed but the embarrassment soon turned into a fit of rage. He scoffed and looked away, crossing his arms in the progress. Patrick laughed a bit at Henry then looked away. Henry's face was bright red and he refused to speak anymore in that conversation.
