"What?! A Quirk assessment test?!".

The entire class was in shock as they stared at their teacher, their eyes bulging from their heads in utter disbelief at the words they were hearing.

Mr. Aizawa was quick to explain to them their purpose in being out on that field once they all managed to congregate around him. And safe to say, he set a new record for how many times he could leave an entire class of teenagers speechless within the timespan of about 20 minutes.

"But what about orientation? We're gonna miss it," The girl who was talking to Midoriya earlier practically whined.

"If you really wanna make the big leagues, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies," Mr. Aizawa started, irritation leaking out of his dry tone in droves. "Here at U.A., we're not tethered to traditions. That means I get to run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardized tests for most of your lives, but you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the Ministry of Education will learn,".

Aiko could feel the excitement running through her veins. Getting to use her quirk like this was something she had been waiting on for years. It felt so different from the training at home with Endeavor, it felt more... purposeful.

"Bakugou, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam,".

The blonde that Aiko had been observing earlier grunted as his head snapped to look Mr. Aizawa in the eyes, doing the bare minimum in terms of a semi-respectful response.

"Bakugou," Aiko repeated to herself, "So that's his name,". She almost allowed herself to nod in approval at Baugou's stats.

According to the very brief conversation between Iida, Midoriya, and the girl whose name Aiko had yet to figure out, their entrance exam wasn't the easiest thing ever, and for him to have scored the most points out of all of the participants... Well, that told Aiko that Bakugou, at the very least, knew how to use his quirk and he knew how to use it well.

"What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in Junior High?" Mr. Aizawa asked.

"67 meters, I think," Bakugou answered, his shoulders shrugging slightly as though that particular stat wasn't even that impressive.

"Right. Try doing it with your quirk," Mr. Aizawa instructed, lightly tossing the ball in his hand to Bakugou as he spoke.

Everyone perked up, either excited or curious to see what kind of quirk gave Bakugou the ability to claim the top spot in the entrance exam.

"Anything goes, just stay in the circle." Mr. Aizawa noted. "Go on. You're wasting our time," He urged as he walked off to the side to give Bakugou optimal room for his first test.

"Alright man, you asked for it," Bakugou chuckled as he stretched a little, the look on his face conveyed his confidence in his ability almost too well. "Die!" He screamed as he threw the ball, a loud boom reverberating through the air as a small cloud of smoke covered Bakugou's upper body.

He looked to have some sort of an explosion quirk. Aiko couldn't help but chuckle at how well it fit him, though the name Bakugou should've given her at least a little bit of insight into what to expect from him.

"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities. It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero." Mr. Aizawa explained, at the same time holding up his phone to display Bakugou's distance.

The ball traveled 705.2 meters. With the addition of his quirk, he was able to increase the distance of his throw by tenfold. It was an impressive improvement.
