Edward Ryan's pov...
" Wait, Did I hear it right ? Date ? I shrinked my eyebrows confusedly and asked
" Look Ryan. I know this is too sudden. You are 27 now..of course that doesn't matter but you are without a girlfriend. You and me know that you need to have your own life and family"
" Stop. I don't want to waste time in loving someone, fights and later getting dumped. Leave that..I haven't felt love or spark for any girl till now" I said looking at John
" Man ,you need do go on dates or just meet someone to find the one suitable for you " John explained
" And no one knows your soft character behind the stern face except a few "
" Am not interested in meeting anyone "
" Ryan atleast meet her. Just once..please" she said acting sad
I know Linda and John would always think the best for me but this I just couldn't accept but they won't leave me just like that.
" Ok, this is only for you both and if am not interested I will just walk off " I said without any interest.
" Superb..so lets get going"she stood up with enthusiasm
" Where?"
" To the nightclub. I have already told her to be there. You both can go change and be ready in 10 mins"
"So this was all planned. You both knew I will eventually agree to whatever you say " I said picking up Sofia and went to her room to put her to sleep.
"It was all Linda's plan Ryan" John shouted from behind.
"Ryan, where you all are going ?" Sofi asked with sleepy eyes.
"We are just going to meet your Mom's friend and will be back soon before you wakeup " I said and put her in the bed, covered her with blanket and left the room.
"Am not going to change my dress this is fine with me" I said sitting in the sofa with john
"Your presence alone is sufficient my lord " Linda came out wearing a black dress.
"Baby you look too gorgeous that I cannot take my eyes from you" he said pulling her for a kiss.
I went out to the parking lot leaving them alone. After few mins John and Linda joined me and we reached the club.
I am really not a clubbing person but would go with them when they force me to. Tonight as we are allowed inside only in pairs. We waited for that girl.
"She said she reached" Linda said searching for the girl.
"There she is" linda smiled and went to hug her. I forget the girl's name. She had a blonde hair and wore a tight dress slowing off her body sexily. I know I wouldn't be interested beforehand and the same is happening.
"Come, let me introduce you. Ryan this is Chirstina and Christina this is Edward Ryan"
" Hi " christina said trying to greet me with a hug with I felt uncomfortable. God!! Why I have to do this without any interest.
As soon as we entered the club, Linda and John left us alone and went to the dance floor. I went and sat on one of the tables. She pulled a chair and sat beside me.
" Can I call you Edward?" She asked with shyness. I don't think she is shy, its like acting.
I pushed off my thoughts and said " Call me Ryan " only my closed one call me Edward or I just not okay with her calling me like that.
" Linda would have told about me. I have my own working studio here. Tell me about you" she moved her body close to me.
" Nothing special.I am a doctor and I work in the same department Linda is working" I said moving a little bit.
" I know. First I saw you in the ER treating a small girl while telling her stories to forget her pain. I instantly liked your kindness. I came there to visit Linda and told her that I was interested in knowing you" she said leaning towards me.
" I am really interested in you. The first time I saw you...you looked sexy shining like a prince charming. I am sure you are popular among girls. Can I ask you for a dance" she asked in a sexy tone.
"I don't dance" I said standing up.
" Oh come on" she said pulling me to the dance floor. Everyday I come across many girl trying to flirt with me in different ways. I simple walk away or if it gets complicated I will shout at them. In this case she is Linda friend I couldnt just treat her badly.
She started dancing and pulling me towards her and taking my hands to her hips. She danced sexily swaying her body. Linda saw me and winked. At the same time Christina dangerously close to kiss. Ok this is getting too much
" Am sorry" I pulled off from her and walked outside the club.
I went to the car door and stood there breathing the cold air. John and linda walked towards me
" Ryan, you know its not decent to leave her in the middle " Linda said angrily.
" Come on guys...Do you know what she did ? She tried to kiss me..I don't just kiss anyone whom I don't know..she is also flirting like the other girls and she is clearly not in an intention of getting to know about me rather thinking of getting into my pants first..I want some love guys like you both.. like my parents ..right now am not interested in getting a girlfriend like a teenager...I just dont like her John ...try to make Linda understand that...I hope you get what am saying" I shouted back and open the car door to get in.
They both got inside and We drove home silently. After we reached we went to our house separately. I pulled myself to the bed tiredly and closed my eyes to catch some sleep leaving the thoughts behind as I have to go early to hospital the next day..
