Diya's POV...
I got down for lunch. While I walked down the stairs, I heard Andrew (Elisa husband) carrying Sam in his arms and calling out for Edward. We all rushed to the living room and saw Sam bleeding. There was a cut in his leg and he was crying. Edward came running inside and made Sam sit on the sofa and called out for the medicine kit. Ma came hurriedly and gave it to him.
"Sam this is nothing. Don't cry. I will take care of it. You believe me right" he said, looking at him and he nodded.
He treated the wound and covered it with a bandage.
"No need to worry as the cut is not deep. Relax all" he said and picked up Sam.
"Come on buddies. Let's go out and have ice cream" he said and the kids jumped with joy. God!! Why is he so handsome? He makes me admire him everytime.
"No, lunch is ready. You all can go wherever you want but only after having lunch" Ma used her ordering tone and obviously we should abide by it.
I wanted to speak with my hubby as I didn't get a chance to speak with him from morning. I was about to take a step when I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I turned to see none and again I felt a tap on my left shoulder. But, I turned right this time to see Stephen.
"Smart" he said, coming to the front."Are you alright?" he asked and I creased my eyebrows in confusion.
He looked at my confused face "I heard them speak bad about you and you walked back to your room silently. So, thought to ask" he said, with hesitation like scratching his side forehead with his fingers.
"So, you helped me by introducing yourself in middle of our conversation" I asked him normally without any doubt. Maybe he's a nice person and unwantedly I had a doubt on him.
"It's not like that...I.." he stopped. He didn't know what to say for that.
"It's ok. Thanks for that" I said and he relaxed.
"So, friends? But, the beautiful part was true. You look gorgeous" He said smiling widely.
I was about to speak when "Thanks for complimenting my wife, Stephen" Edward barged in with both the hands on his jean pocket, standing cool.
"So, long time since we last met. Very glad to see you, Ryan" Stephen said coldly. Are they friends or enemies?
"Yeah..so, if you excuse us. I want to take my wife for lunch" Edward said and eyed me to come.
