Sacrifice

I had my mother in front of me from a time when I did not exist, a spirit in a white suit put my hand on my cheek, but I could not touch it, it was piercing it.

"Mother?" I asked, amazed.

- My boy, Samuel you have grown so much and you have become a brave and fierce man. I am very proud of you and I thank the forces of the universe for having hugged you one last time, today I have to leave from your side, but I will always be here for you- said my mother

- No, mother, don't say that. No please, don't leave me- I say scared.

- You'll be fine, you have a lot of people who love you and will take care of you. You will be the most powerful man in the ocean, you will take from that Cádiz the blood of all the sorceresses and you will defeat it, you will bring justice in the open sea where evil lurks. You will be my son- my mother said reassuring me.

- I love you mother- I say

"Take it," ordered my mother.

The spirit of my mother in front of me put a vial of her blood in my hands and I only heard the echo "take it". Her spirit began to fade, her light began to disappear and time began to return; I ran out, put a Cadiz where the blood was and spilled some of my mother's, with her last breath my mother began to say a few words in Latin and the blood began to sparkle and bubble. My mother's spirit disappeared, my mother's body turned to ashes flying over the sea, time returned to normal and all eyes were on me with surprised faces while Longbeard yelled "NOO!".

I put the Cádiz on my lips and began to drink all that blood, I could feel the taste of power as it grew inside me, as my veins glowed. Throwing the Cádiz to the ground when I had already drunk everything, Anemona jumped from the boat turning into a Manta from the sea, the great sorceress had fled. I could feel how my body, my mind, my everything changed and I had it right there.

"Surprised?" I say to Longbeard.

- With powers or not you are still inferior to me, you are nobody, nobody knows who you are, but to me the great Long Beard, they get scared every time my name sounds and every time they see the Star of Fire, something that will never happen with you- he said mockingly.

Speaking to me with rage and anger, trying to hide his feeling of defeat, he took out a gun and shot me, believing that it would kill me, but now I had several things inside of me that I still did not know and I was able to move to the side seeing how the bullet passed and missed. Seeing that he ran up to me with his sword, Trevor grabbed his unsuspecting side and stabbed him with the sword causing him to fall to his knees. There Trevor buried the sword much deeper causing it to vote blood from its mouth and pulled it out leaving it to bleed and writhe.

"Trevor I know you need that, you need to get that anger out of you, but I want him alive," I say stopping him.

- But Samuel, if that guy is worth nothing, he is rubbish- he reproached

- We will take him to land defeated, with his pride for the floor and that reputation he lives on, he can see how he fades and they execute him in the square in front of the whole town, that's what I want- I say

I bent down and put my hand on his wound, I started to say some words that I didn't even understand, but I knew them somehow and I could see how his wound began to heal and his breathing returned to normal. I didn't completely heal him, I left him with a wound that he could survive with and when I got up I grabbed him by his big beard and cut it with a knife. Everyone's sigh was heard throughout the deck as they did so, his beard was a symbol and it was gone. I threw it to the ground and they will take it to the Amaluna cells.
