Weeping from the latter can only be heard. Shouts of crying and wailing for plea of forgiveness. They should have known better. They should have. But what has been done has done, nothing can change that. Everything that the couple had gone through was a lie, a fantasy created in their mind to satisfy themselves as they did not want to feel the pain of rejection. Now they do as confirmation of such statement is revealed and found to be true; it was just a fantasy.

Their lover, former lover in this case, kneeling in front of them crying out apologies for the scandalous breakout that had been announced moments before. The latter did not know what to do. Their chest ached in pain witnessing their former lover wail. They could not comprehend the wailing that was portrayed to them as it was either because of regret or heartbreak. It can either be one of the two, not both.

In their shared apartment, the bright, big star shines upon from their window. The only true happiness is beamed from the star translating into an undeciphered message for the couple. It was the start of the day, but nothing can be expected as for them, the happiness that soared high up in the sky will be replaced by darkness soon to be devouring all.

"Babe I'm s-"

Slap.

"DON'T call me THAT! YOU have LOST your right in calling me that!"

Echoing from wall to wall, their former lover had been struck hard not only on their face, but their heart. The hand from the latter is imprinted on their former lover's face, radiating much like a beat tomato that is not able to wash away. Now, they walk away from their former lover with the words spitting out in vein: I loved you.

They had said that if it is meant to be, you must let go of what you have now and see where the next chapter takes you. It the next chapters leads you to whom you love, it is fate and destiny that brought you two back together, as it is meant to be you two conquering against the universe. Not letting go of what you have dreaded before, won't make you able to open or start a new chapter of your life.
