Chapter 6

I dreaded going back home. I knew if I went back I would see him. I wanted to stay on campus during break, but my parents wanted me to come home.

Call with mom

Yukino: Mom, I want to stay at school during break,

Mom: ehhh! Why?

Yukino: I have a lot of homework and studying to do so I think I should just stay at school.

Mom: But we haven't seen you after you started school. We all miss you and want you back home.

Yukino: that's obviously a lie.

Mom: *angrily* yukino!!

Yukino: but mom...

Mom: no buts. Come home over break. Please, I'm telling not asking.

Yukino: fine...

Mom: I'll see you when you come. Did you need someone to come pick you up?

Yukino: no, it's fine, I can go by myself.

Mom: are you sure? Your brothers are willing...

Yukino: yes, I'm sure, I can go by myself...

Inner thoughts

If I go back then for sure I'm going to see him, touma. What should I do? *sigh* I really hope I don't... Wait! I shouldn't stress about this. I shouldn't care about this. I need to move on and focus on my studies. Yeah! This is not how I want to spend my high school life like this. We agreed to this. Not talking or meeting each other. Ok, Yukino, get yourself together.

So I reasoned with myself. I shouldn't care if he was there. So I packed my stuff and headed home for break.
