I removed my pillow from the side of my face as I turned off my blaring alarm. It was unusually cold in my bedroom so I slipped on my blue jumper and walked to the kitchen of my flat. My roommate Lucy was already sitting at the counter with two mugs of coffee.
"I could tell by the way I could hear your snoring from my room last night that you would need this." She muttered, sliding the cup of warm mocha towards me.
"Sorry. " I said, sitting down in the stool next to her and sipping the coffee. "Uni is stupid. Just decided that. "
"You said that last week. And the week before that." I sighed kicking my feet at the side of the counter.
"Well I'm just really good at speaking my mind."
"Yeah sure little miss emo 'it's not a phase mom! '" I shrugged flipping my purple dip dyed brown hair in her direction. "The good thing is we have this week off. We can do what ever we'd like. And I say we start by going to the mall. "
"Lucy we don't have a car."
"So what? We can walk. We both got our paychecks yesterday, so it's totally worth it to be able to go to hot topic."
"True. But exercise is the devil's work. "
"Well then it's a good thing the frat boys think you dress like a satanist because this is just your thing and we're going." I hopped of the stool and sulked back to my room collapsing on my bed. This was my life. I was almost always in class or doing nothing. I tried my best not to dwell on how terribly normal my life was, but it was caught up to me. How I'm probably going to die without leaving a trace. But that's life for most people. You live and you die. That's it. Anyway that's another thing about me. I think WAY too much. I pulled myself off the bed and walked to my closet, picking out a pair of ripped black leggings and jean high wasted shorts, a Fall Out Boy tank top, a red flannel, and a pair of black combat boots. No different than any other day. Nothing special. I walked to the front door and called for Lucy.
"Oh Lucille!"
"Yes Paisley?"
"Are you going to get your ass out here so we can leave?"
"In a second my dearest friend!" I stood there leaning against the wall for another ten minutes before she came out.
"You were already dressed. What took you so long?"
"Hello? Accessories!" she said putting on her gray fedora that I personally think makes her look like Patrick Stump.
"Whatever." I huffed, throwing on my snapback as I opened our front door and walked to the lift. I was hoping there would be no one inside just because I'm a generally awkward person, but unfortunately, there was a woman with a little girl who looked around the age of 4. As we got on I mumbled a hello to the child and her mother grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her away from me. I guess I didn't really look like the person you wanted a child around, with my multicolored hair, punk style, and multiple piercings but people these days are just plain rude. I leaned into the corner of the lift briefly checking my twitter until the woman got off. Once they left I sighed to Lucy. "Am I really that scary? "
"Are you kidding me? That kid was scarier than you. Your like a big teddy bear . She was a disgusting little germ sack.""Wow Luc. Good to see you're considerate of others feelings." I said as we got off the lift and stepped into the lobby.
"It's not like she was still in there with us. That would be mean." We left the building and started walking to the West Side Mall. "So what you're saying is next time Panic comes to Aussie you are definitely getting tickets?"
"Well yeah sure if I can afford them, why wouldn't I?"
"I don't know maybe because you absolutly hate people!"
"True but it's worth it if I get spit on by Brendon Urie."
"Hey look out Pais!" I turned to see a green haired boy wearing a leather jacket running towards me. I went to move but it was to late. I was lying on the ground with the mysterious boy on top of me.
"I am so, so sorry." He said getting off of me and helping me up. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a Sex Pistols tank under his jacket. I had to admit he was hot, so I wasn't going to get into a fight with him.
"It's fine. I wasn't looking where I was going."
"Well it wasn't very civil of me to be running down the street and not looking out for any beautiful girls. I'm Michael." He stuck his hand out in front of me and I took it shaking it lightly.
"I'm Paisley and this is Lucy."
"It's nice to meet you both but I gotta go. I hope this isn't the last time I see you." He winked at me and then proceded to walk down the street. I stood there dumbstruck until Lucy snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Hello? Earth to Pais?"
"Sorry."
"You think he's hot."
"Well yeah cause he is. What's so exciting about it?"
"You haven't had a crush on someone who isn't a band member or a youtuber since year 10! We need to find him, track him down. Use our major stalking skills."
"Whoa whoa whoa. Calm down. He has an Australian accent I'm sure he's from here and if we were meant to meet again than we will. I refuse to stalk this boy."
"Suit yourself but when you never see him again in your life don't come crying to me cause girl he was wearing a Sex Pistols shirt. And had green hair. You're practiclly meant to be."
"Whatever you say Luc. Whatever you say."
