In the old, rusted truck, the two sisters laughed and told stories about their experiences while the other sister wasn't there. Some people would be shocked at how close the sisters are if they didn't know them well. The two females were almost exactly five years apart, they didn't have a lot in common. Bella was more of an introvert and had a harder time at making conversation easily. Isa, on the other hand, was a huge talking person. She would talk to a wall if she could get away with it.

"So you're telling me, this strange ass boy left you? You of all people? Damn. He must really be stupid." Isa laughed at her attempt at humour as her sister laughed alongside her.

"Yeah.. he said he had to move." Bella sighed as her spirit was permanently up while her sister was with her. Isa sighed gently before rolling her head back.

"Can.. Can I tell you something? You have to promise not to tell dad." The strawberry blond looked over to her sister with hopeful eyes.

"Of course. What's up?" Bella gave her sister a confused look before her eyes quickly focusing back on the road.

"I had a relationship up in Massachusetts. It didn't go well but that's about it." Isa spoke slowly so each word could set in with her sister. Technically, she didn't lie to her sister but she definitely didn't say the whole truth. Bella nearly pulled over as she looked at her sister with an incredulous look.

"And you never told me?! Why?" Bella asked with a sullen tone to her voice.

"I wanted to deal with my problems like an adult, Bella. Not having dad or mom solve my problems. I am a strong woman and I will not have a dumbass man tell me what I can do with my life. No one will. I needed to prove to myself that I can handle my own problems." Isa sighed as she poured out her philosophy behind keeping it a secret. Her younger sister was still baffled but nodded.

"Okay. But next time, please talk to me." Bella sighed as she gripped the steering wheel tightly, hating the thought of her sister crying over a man. Her older sister rolled her eyes but smiled at her younger sister.

"Yes, ma'am. Anyways, I-" Before she could finish her sentence, Bella pulled into their driveway, making Isa quiet as nostalgia hit her.

In front of the truck was the house that she could never forget. The white house with dark, almost forest green stairs and garage door. Her eyes glanced over at the yard, remembering when she was just a small child. Isa would pretend to run away from a scary monster, which was often played by her father, and mess up the grass. Now an adult, the memories nearly brought the young adult to tears before she heard a honk. Charlie had parked right behind them and opened the car door. He stood up and hollered loud enough for the girls to hear him.

"How about we call take-out tonight and we can go to the Diner tomorrow?" He asked, expecting his daughters approval only to be met by a strawberry blond shaking her head.

"Absolutely not! You eat take-out so much, I'm surprised that you don't have health problems. I'll make dinner. And every meal from now on." Isa spoke loudly as she popped open the truck's door. She slid out and slowly made her way to her father. "I'll even make cookies."

Charlie didn't disagree with that as Bella silently gave a sigh of relief. Isa walked around to the trunk of the Cruiser and began to take out her suitcases before her father stopped her from grabbing both. "Hey, Bells! Can you grab my mini suitcase in the back seat?"
