Dark own hair, encrusted with a golden crown that weaved through Alistair's hair like grape vines. Liquid caramel eyes gazed across the room with careful calculation. Ismene locked her knees as tehy began to go weak at the sight of the King. He is the embodiment of the Atlantis promise; intelligence wrapped in dark delicant beauty that could slice an enemy with a smile. Alistair's advisor reached out to touch his elbow as a reminder to stay a respectable distance away from his subjects.
Ismene bowed in the slowest curtsy possible without falling on her face. Tarin took a knee with his head held high and a fist over his crest, and waited from Alistair's gesture to rise. Once in an upright position, Tarin stepped forward. "Your Majesty, I would like to make a request."
King Alistair made his way to the throne before replying, "What may I help you with, dearest cousin?" Alistair adjusted his robes as he waited for the young boy to speak up, taking note that Ismene nudged her brother forward to plead his case.
"I would like to further my studies into the genetic advancements. I have already all pre-requisite studies." Tarin stood tall with his hand behind his back. Most people in Atlantis tended to underestimate him, and were often dumbfounded when he spoke.
"Train, as much as I would like to help you in continuing your education I will be speaking with your mother about her opinion before giving you a response." Sighing, Alistair got up from his throne and walked to Tarin, "However, I do have a couple experiments currently ensuing if you would like to observe?"
Smiling, Tarin quickly grabbed Alistair's outreached hand. "Ismene, your Aunt Marci could use your help in the east wing. I will bring Tarin over once the experiments have been included."
Turning in dismissal, Alistair guided Tarin down the north wing of the palace.
