The MASTER of STRINGS

Chapter 7

-Don't leave me!-

After running a good distance Mizuki halted on her tracks.  She looked back thinking of the men that had rescued her from her abductor...

"I'm sorry, you guys have to be sacrificed just for me to live."

She looked up into the sky, thinking of them.

"Maybe I can do something for them..."

She bowed her head on the ground, breathing steadily as she closed her eyes.  Then she hummed a little song.  Her soft voice echoing on the forest...

Kakashi looked intently into his opponent, opening his sharingan as Hisoka flicked his card deck between them.

"You know, it is not my mission to fight you.  The one I'm after for is the girl.  If you want we can split the money and share the reward.  I'm not a greedy person after all."

"Tell me, why are you so eager to catch her..."

"I told you it's for the money..."

"Why do you need her? What is it with her that they need to hire a bunch of men just to get her back?"

"They said it's because of her abilities.  She's got this rare ability only she can do.  And that she's surrounded by two strong shinobi guards it wouldn't be easy to get near her.  Tell me, are you and your friend here were her guards?"

"I don't know what your saying.  First of all I do not know her.  We only came here when we heard someone scream. Second,  it's also true that fighting you is not included in our mission.  But if is the only way to stop you from pursuing that girl then,  I have no choice..."

As he led out his hands he did some hand signs...

"Lightning style":  "Lightning blade"

He dashed himself into his enemy swishing his hand blade across his midsection but Hisoka caught it using his cards...

The two continued to fight until they both got exhausted....

Judging by the way Hisoka smirked it is clear he's got the advantage.  But Kakashi will not give up easily.  It is true they haven't been recovered from their previous assignment and his chakra is getting drained but it doesn't mean he cannot fight.

As he forced himself to stand he felt a new wave of energy flowing from his feet up to his body. Like a magic spell the blue aura surrounded his entire body healing all cuts and wounds replenishing his strength and his stamina.

"What is happening?"

After he healed the energy ball surrounded Gai, who was still knocked out on the floor, healing him all the same. 

When the blue light disappeared Kakashi was standing glorious while Gai was furiously clunching his fist as he pointed his index finger on their opponent.

"How dare you insult me infront of my comrade! Knocking me out when I was all tired and hungry....now you're gonna pay..."

He lauched himself on the opponent, attaking him non-stop.  While Kakashi smirked under his mask...

"I'm not sure what's going on but whatever it is...it's a sign that your going down!" 

He joined Gai as they synchronize their moves to beat the enemy.

It was getting midnight, the air gets cooler as the temperature drops.  Mizuki was now sitting on a branch, panting and sweating as she caught up some air into her lungs.  It's almost four hours and still no sign of Hitoshi or Amida.
