You were all giddy as your class loaded the bus. You would soon be reunited with your friends! Feeling lightheaded, you pulled out a bottle of water and, when you thought no one was looking, quickly dropped in a blood tablet.
Unfortunately for you, as soon as you did, Lindsay had sat down beside you and pretended to be friendly.
"Hey (Name)! Is that red Kool-Aid? How did you know that was my favorite? Thanks so much!" she said "sweetly" as she took the bottle and took a sip of the "red Kool-Aid". Not a second later, she spat the liquid out all over the girl in the seat beside her. She screamed,
"What the h***?! Are you trying to poison me?!" As you held in your laughter, you replied,
"No, and if I was, I would have /offered/ the drink to you. Now please give me back my water bottle." She let out a "Hmph!" and carelessly threw the bottle to you as she moved seats. 'Finally,' you thought.
~time skip again~
As the bus pulled into the school gates, you could see a few people standing nearby, waiting to greet their guests. The said "welcoming squad" was comprised of three people: Headmaster Cross, Yuki Cross, and a certain Kiryu boy that didn't look very happy to be there. When the bus doors had opened the girls stampeded out of the vehicle, trying to get to the elite Night Class boys, but were disappointed when they didn't see any. You thought, 'Just hurry and give us our schedules! I want away from them!' It wasn't long after that everyone had exited the bus, and was waiting for their temporary headmaster to speak.
"Hello, and welcome to Cross Academy! If you didn't already know, we are a private school consisting of a day class, and a night class. Though almost all of you are in the day cla-" Headmaster Cross was cut off by a chorus of complaints, whining, and questions from the girls in your class. They had already gotten on Zero's nerves, and they had just gotten here!
"Shut up, get over it, and don't interrupt again!" Zero yelled angrily, causing Yuki to smack him upside the head.
"When I say your name, come up, get your schedule," Headmaster Cross continued, "and form two groups: day class on the left, night class on the right." He began calling out names.
"(Random Name), (Random Name), (Random Name)," All of the names called were students that were placed in the day class. "(Name) (Last Name)," he said, looking over your schedule with a puzzled look on his face. You were worried that something bad had happened, so you quickly walked up to get your schedule. When he handed it to you, he looked concerned about something.
"Is something wrong, Headmaster?" you asked. With a hushed tone, he replied,
"Yes. Please come talk to me while the others are talking the tour,"
You gave a quick nod and returned to the group before open the folder that you schedule was in. But as soon as you opened it, you immediately regretted it. You were put in the day class. The DAY CLASS. The class that was full of humans, way more than that of your usual class. You were a pureblood vampire living off of those nasty blood tablets. A single paper cut could drive you over the edge. Now you knew why the Headmaster wanted to talk to you.
"Lindsay Keen," She went up to get her schedule, and began squealing after she read it.
"In your faces! I'm in the Night Class!" she yelled out, smirking afterwards.
