You turned to find the source of the beautiful voice. It was Kaname. You were about to say something to him, but he interrupted you.
"Aido. You are to use the correct honorifics when in the presence of someone of the upper class. You should know this by now." Kaname said sternly. Aido's head hung in shame as he replied,
"Yes, Lord Kaname," he turned to you.
"I apologize for my lack of respect, Lady (Name). Please forgive me." You scratched the back of your head, somewhat embarrassed at what happened.
"D-Don't worry about! I was never big on the whole 'upper class' thing anyway...." you said, picking up on the fact that they replaced the term "pureblood" with "upper class" to preserve the secrecy. You were going to continue talking, but Lindsay had suddenly moved closer to Kaname and was looking him up and down.
"Hey~ I'm Lindsay, and your name is Kaname right?~ Why don't you get rid of the unwanted company and have some fun with me?~" she said. That thirsty hoe. Kaname's stoic expression wavered in surprise. He knew she wasn't a vampire, but she should at least be able to tell when the person she is hitting on is way out of her social caste!
"Miss Lindsay, I would love to rid myself of the 'unwanted company', but it seems that she is part of the Night Class for the week and requires a tour of the dorms," he replied as he took a step away from Lindsay and closer to you. Lindsay, being the oblivious idiot she is, said,
"What are you talking about? (Name) isn't in the Night Class! She's in the Day Class!"
Her statement didn't surprise the pureblood. He had assumed that there was a schedule mix-up considering that a human had been put in the Night Class. But that can't be said for the rest of the Night Class. They all had shocked expressions on their faces and were rambling on about how you should've been.
"Sorry, guys. I can't switch to the Night Class without permission from my guardian, and you know how he'll react when he finds out that I'm here." you said, looking at the ground forlornly. Kaname walked in front of you, put a hand on your cheek, and brought your face up to look at him.
"Don't worry, (Name). We can go talk to Headmaster Cross about it later. In the meantime, please enjoy your time here. We have all missed you dearly." he said sweetly. You nodded as a deep blush began to form on your cheeks. When did Kaname become this caring?
