You never felt at home in your age group. Always dull and lifeless.

Somehow becoming friends with me. A girl with vibrant painted skies.

You say I'm the psychopathic little girl that wasn't scared to talk to you.

When in reality a junior shouldn't go for a freshman, just because she added color to your black and white painting.

A year past and you became obsessed in different ways.

Maybe it was pity, or boredom. Who knows. The chance was given to you.

And chances never came easily for me.

And the second you took it, you changed. Trying to control all the colors in my world to fit yours.

Choking out all the life of the happy little girl you once met.

Constantly telling her to grow up.

Ripping the colors of my rainbow open until all that was left was black and white.

I finally broke. And when I needed you. You found a new rainbow even younger than the first.

After a while, I could finally see my world in color again.

But you weren't allowed back into my now pastel sky.
