I went to the counter and a really pretty woman in her late teenage years whom I've never seen asked me about my order.
"One hot chocolate with whipped cream and a choco lava cake.", I told her.
"What's your name?", she asked.
"Hayden Miller.", I replied.
I paid her the money for my order.
"Thank you. Have a nice meal.", she smiled.
"Yeah, welcome. Um...Where is Aunt Annie?", I asked.
"She's not in the country for 2 days. Do you know her? because I've never seen you here before", she said.
"Yes, I know her, and I wasn't in the city for few years so that's the reason.", I told her.
Aunt Annie was my father's colleague and a very good friend of his. She was very kind and nice to me. She was like a mother figure to me. I haven't met her since I left the country.
There were not many people there and I found a place for three very easily. I sat there and opened my phone and saw that Shelley hasn't replied. I started playing a puzzle game to pass my time.
I passed half an hour playing the game until someone came and closed my mouth from the back by her hands. And by seeing the hand, I recognized whom it belonged to.
"Shelley Belley Jello Jelley", I mumbled screamed beneath her hands.
"Okay, stop", she said in an offensive voice removing her hands from my mouth.
She always gets irritated when Noah and I call her like that. So good work Hayden... I mentally patted my back.
"How are you here earlier? The school must not be over, right?", I asked her.
"We skipped", Noah said coming from behind Shelley.
"Skipped as in truancy?", I asked them shocked.
"Obviously", Shelley sighed.
"But that's a felony right!", I said.
"Why are you acting like my mother Hayd? Wait, Have you never ever skipped a class or what?", Noah asked.
"Of course, not. You know G-Mother and I would never skip a class because it isn't right.", I told them.
"We need to do something for her", Shelley said giving Noah a strange look which I couldn't decipher.
"Hayden Miller, your order is ready.", one of the staff replied before I was going to ask them about the telepathic conversation they were having.
"I'll pick and order something for both of us", Noah said while texting on his phone.
"A Vanilla Latte and a hamburger for me", Shelley said.
As he went, Shelley said,
"I feel so good Hayd. We came here after so many years. After you left, we came here once and all we end up was with nothing but tears. And now I have this nostalgic feeling and Christy was too excited and so happy to be back here with all of us together."
I felt tears building in my eyes but I didn't let them come out, after all, it was a moment being happy for. I hugged her.
"Were you guys watching Titanic and Jack died again, without me?", Noah came with my order saying it dramatically.
