---Lee's Pov---
It is such a good day! Youthful, very youthful indeed. I start heading towards the Hyuga house to meet Neji and TenTen. Hmm~ The fresh air is so soothing near these areas!
"Yo Lee!", what was tha-... Oh! It's Neji! He looks suspiciously happy... "Hello, Neji! What's got you so excited today?" I ask. TenTen comes in screaming, saying "Gai sensei says he has something super important for us!".
Super important? What would it be? We started talking about our plans for the future while walking to Gai sensei's.
"So Neji.." Tenten asked, "who would you want to settle down in the future with!?". Neji might not have noticed but I certainly saw a slight blush creeping up to her face. I smile waiting for Neji to take the bait and finally ask her out. "Umm..." Neji started, "I would probably find a well-respected girl from my own clan or someone I grow respect for in the future".
Tenten looked very disappointed but I knew Neji was happy. He kinda did hint that he would like a girl he respected, and I knew that Neji had tons of respect for Tenten. I just smiled warmly to both of them thinking, 'When will I get someone to be with..'
Suddenly, I got lifted up and twirled around in circles. "Gai sensei!" I scream with excitement. "How are you doing my youthful butterfly?!" he asked with his nice guy pose. "Wonderful sir!" I reply with a respectful bow.
"Sup' sensei!" Neji said with no enthusiasm (Wow! RUDE) "Gai sensei what's the big news!?" Tenten asked with a facial expression that was screaming "Curiosity". "Well..." Gai Sensei started.
"The big news is that I think all of you are ready for the Chunin exams this year!". There were a few seconds of silence and then everyone including me started yelling with joy! (Neji didn't yell but he did his own thing)
I had never thought that I would get to participate in the chunin exams so early! I am really living youth to its fullest, hopefully, I am not going to make Gai sensei disappointed... "Yo, you okay Lee?" said a confused Hyuuga. "Yup, just don't know how to react to the news.." I replied, Neji just rolled his eyes and started practicing his Byakugan.
"Don't mind him Lee, we all know you are going to do great!" Tenten yelled. Hehe, at least someone other than Gai sensei thought I was good.
The rest of the day went by, we (surprisingly) had a lot of work to do. First, we have to fill out the chunin exam forms then get consent from our parents. Then we had to train the whole day. And at the end was the most tiring thing to do...
Watch Tenten and Neji flirt with each other!
Trust me, it gets very annoying very quickly. I just ran home and sat on the couch wondering what I always wonder every day before getting ready for bed: 'When will I ever have my certain someone?'.
