Lee Donghae's Pov.

*bang!*

"LEE DONGHAE!!!!! GET THE F*CK OUT OF YOUR BEDD!! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FLIGHTTTT!!!" My mother, Lee Maerin, shouted beside my ear after kicking me out of the bed

"Ok ok chill I'm up, calm down, mom" I said while rubbing my buttocks..

"Go get ready, I'll make breakfast for you, be quick or you'll miss your flight, I'll meet you downstairs" mom said and went outside my room

I gathered my clothes and took a bath. Oh wait i haven't introduced myself. I am Lee Donghae, 20 years old, full korean but we live in California. You're probably wondering what my mom means about my flight earlier. It's my flight back to Korea. I'm an aspiring idol trainee in SM Ent. I've been training there for months now but I went back to california for a while to rest. Anyways, I wore my white jeans, black fitted shirt, long gray checkered winter coat and black timbers, I also wore black bucket hat.

After I got dressed, I carried my luggage downstairs. I went to the kitchen, smelling the aroma of lasagna made by my mom. i hugged her from behind and kiss her cheeks.

" Wait at the dining table, I'll be serving your favorite lasagna in a minute, go go go" mom said and pushed me out of the kitchen.

I sat at the dining room thinking what kind of a life would I have in korea. I know it'll need hard work but I will eventually achieve my dream. I can feel it.I promised my mom I'll visit them again when I have time.

Mom, came to the dining room with the tray of heaven in her hands. I'll miss her lasagna...I'll miss her again.

Not long after my mom served the food, my younger brother, Lee Donghwa, went to the dining area and sat beside mom. after praying we started eating in utter silence, no one is willing to speak, wanting to cherish the last moments of dining together as complete family or at least last in this year. If you're wondering where my dad is and why he's not here to "complete" the family, he died already. He was killed during an ambush, he's the bodyguard of the president of korea, I was still 8 years old that time, after we lost the head of the family we migrated to america but I went back to korea to pursue my dreams of being an idol, I've been wanting to be an idol since I was a kid, now my time has come.

"After you go back to Korea, make sure to call us frequently okay. Even tho i know you're responsible enough to look after yourself, I'm still worried." mom said sadly.

"I'll make sure to update you as much as possible I promise." I replied at her.

" hyung (older brother), take good care of yourself okay, don't worry about mom and I, I'll take care of her, focus on your dream, this is a rare opportunity, you can do this hyung" donghwa said while trying to act tough, my 18 years old brother, seeing him so matured and brave, i feel proud and at ease.

After eating it's time to leave. We all went to the airport and before I went to the departure area my mom stopped me.

" keep my reminders in mind okay, no matter what kind of situation it is, never ever skip a meal, not even once, okay?" mom said while fighting back the tears on the corner of her eyes.

"yes mom, hey donghwa, take care of mother, don't let her stress herself okay? make sure to keep yourself in good health so you can protect mother and yourself at all times." I said and hugged them.
