Third Person's POV.

The next morning Donghae was the first to wake up out of everyone. He did his morning routine before heading towards the kitchen and prepare breakfast.

He's humming and dancing a little bit while cooking. He's so focused on cooking that he didn't notice hyukjae watching him sing and dance while cooking.

"Hey mama" hyukjae sexily called his wife.

"Oh for the fucking love of god, Jae, I almost had a heart attack" donghae said, immediately turning off the stove and rush towards his husband then smack his face before hugging jae's neck and kissing him.

"When it hurts~ but it hurts so good~" hyukjae sang after the kiss which earned him another smack. Yap lovely readers, I also have a dirty mind about that song so don't feel guilty about it, remember it's jae's fault (Jae: oh what a pervert) shut up, it's not your turn yet.

"you lovebirds don't spoil my morning, I smell pancakes and you give me dog food?" heechul said while rubbing his eyes. donghae chuckled before going back cooking pancakes. 

siwon who just got to the kitchen helped donghae and hyukjae prepare breakfast while heechul is sleeping on the kitchen stool. after they are done, hyukjae was tasked to wake everyone up to eat which he obliged (of course he would or else, donghae will smack his ass). once he and everyone got to the kitchen they started eating with occassional laughters because of heechul. after eating the other guys went to the pool while ryeowook and siwon stayed inside their room because they volunteered to take care of the twins and donghae is in his and hyukjae's room. 

Donghae's POV. 

Life has been really great, it's fulfilling especially now that I have Jae and my children, they give me life and reason to live. I really enjoy this kind of life....so why?

Flashback

" Yes hello, Dr. Marco?" I greeted. 

['Yes. uhm hello Mr. Lee'] he greeted back sounding very serious. 

"yes Doc, is there something wrong?" I asked him 

[' Your results is out.'] he said which made feel excited yet nervous at the same time. 

" so?" I asked. 

[' You have symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease. We will need to conduct a check up again next week to talk about this and make sure this doesn't have any relations to a possible brain tumor'] he said. what?

"w-wait, so you're telling me, I'm gonna forget everything?" I asked for confirmation. 

[' that part Mr. Lee, I'm not sure until further examination'] he replied to me. 

"C-can we uhm... schedule for next week please? if possible at 9 am" I told him. 

['Uhm sure, I call you again'] He said before hanging up

Alzheimer's? does this mean I'm gonna forget everything? my friends? my family? Jae? my children?  this is impossible. this is not supposed to happen. Why is this happening? This is so unfair. 

my tears started to blur my vision but I quickly wiped it off. No. not today. Today is Nate and niel's first birthday, I'm not gonna ruin this just because of a damn disease. I washed my face before heading downstairs smiling brightly. I'm gonna lie, just for now. Just for now 

"Guys good news, my doctor said it's nothing serious, he said it's just fatigue" I said while smiling brightly, but inside I'm shattered. this is so unfair. 

End of Flashback

"Hae?" I snapped out of my thoughts when Jae called my name. 

"Yes darling?" I said smiling

"I've been calling your name multiple times, but you don't seem to hear me, you're just staring at our family photo for quite a while now, is there something wrong? you can tell me, my love" he said with worry evident in his face.

"No, I'm fine, it's just that...I just think, I'm the luckiest person for having you guys. our friends, our family, reuniting with my father, having children, our lucky charms. I just feel like, everything is too good to be true, and maybe everything we have right now, the happiness we have, comes at a price we might never afford" I told him. Yes, the price for being too happy is this damn disease. the price for having a complete family. the price for being loved....this price... I can't afford it. 

"Don't overthink about it. we all deserve to be happy. we earned it. we deserve all the love we have for each other. because we held on to each other, we stay together during tough times....until now." he said, which made me feel a lot better but...why is this happening to me? why do I have this? 

" Jae, a question just popped in my head, Can I ask you?" I asked him. 

"Yeah sure, whatever it is love" he said while stroking my hair. 

"well...what if one day, I forgot you and all of our friends and our families, what would you do?" I carefully asked while trying to read the expression of his face.

"what do you mean my love?" he asked me while smiling but his eyes reveal his true emotion, he's worried. 

"I'm just asking, what would you do if I forgot everyone" I asked him. 

"I'm gonna help you remember us again. why? is there something wrong?" he asked me while kissing the back of my hand. 

"would you still love me even though I won't remember you?" I asked. 

"Of course my love. I won't ever unlove you" he replied. 

"Nothing's wrong. I'm just asking" I stated before kissing his lips. 

"I know you, My love. I know there's something wrong. What is it? tell me" he said. 

"No, darling. nothing's wrong. I just uhm read a story about a couple and the guy forgot his girlfriend. I was just curious what you would do if something like this happen to us" I said before biting my lip. I feel guilty keeping it a secret. but I don't wanna hurt him. 

"What about me? what would you do if I forgot you and everyone else" he asked me back. 

"I'll help you remember us again. I won't give up on us jae" I told him before sitting on his lap. 

"same for me, my love" he replied looking straight into my eyes. he looks so sincere. 

Third Person's POV

The deep talk is interrupted by leeteuk who called them to inform them of the meeting being held in their living room. 

"Guys, we will have our meeting in the living room for our upcoming schedules so you guys follow downstairs" Leeteuk stated before closing the door leaving the awkward couple behind. 

Hyukjae was the first to break the silence. 

"we should head downstairs,love" He said to donghae who smiled and stood up before holding his husband's hand and going to the living room together.
