Agnetha and Bjorn: The Love Story

A Little Niece

Birgit and Ingvar decided to leave Benny and Björn to it and headed back into Agnetha's room and closed the curtain. Agnetha and Mona looked confused as their parents walked back into the room with a concerned look on their faces and Frida's screams grew louder and louder.

"Mama, Papa," Agnetha announced. "What's going on? Where's Björn?"

"Nothing darling," Birgit replied reassuringly. "The lady next door is also pregnant and it looks like she'll be meeting her baby a little earlier than usual and Björn is comforting the father of that baby since he seemed upset."

"Gotcha," Agnetha nodded.

She knew that it was typical of Björn to go out of his way to help others in distress and this seemed like no exception and that's why she loved him so much. However, Birgit and Ingvar didn't tell her that it was Frida who was in premature labor and that it was Benny whom Björn was offering comfort. They didn't tell her on purpose as they didn't want Agnetha to stress herself out even more than she already had which is why they were in the hospital in the first place. But, they also knew that Agnetha was going to find out one way or another so they would have to keep her calm once they tell her the truth as to what's going on.

Meanwhile, Björn and Benny were out in the hallway. Benny was pacing around frantically as Björn tried to comfort him. Benny desperately needed to take a smoke but he knew it wasn't allowed in the hospital. And there was no doubt that Björn was quick to offer reassurance to his best friend even if he couldn't get a word out of Benny just yet so he just hugged his best friend and held him tightly. Benny stopped pacing around and he and Björn stayed in that position with the two of them hugging each other for a few minutes before Benny finally gathered up the courage to speak up and tell Björn what was happening.

"Thanks for that bro," Benny replied nervously. "I really needed that especially right now."

"What's happening?" Björn asked. "Is everything ok with you, Frida, and the baby?"

"No, not really," Benny replied. "I guess the stress of filming the rest of the movie along with recording our new album was a little too much for Frida along with the fact that some guy in Germany named Alfred Haase recently contacted us claiming to be Frida's dad and that was the last straw. She fainted after I read Alfred's letter to her and her water broke and I freaked out and called an ambulance and now we're here and Frida and I are about to meet our baby sooner than we expected."

"Oh damn," Björn sighed. "I hope everything goes well for you and Frida. And for the baby as well."

"Thanks man," Benny replied as he began to calm down. "We really appreciate that. Anyways, what are you doing here? I think I saw Agnetha's parents as well."

"Similar reasons as to why Frida is about to give birth prematurely," Björn replied. "But she and our baby are ok and now Anna is on bedrest."

"But we have to finish recording our album," Benny replied. "She has the lead on Thank You for the Music and you know that song has a lot of energy."

"We'll have to work something out once the girls have recovered and are out of the hospital," Björn replied. "Anyways, good luck. Anna and I are sending you prayers and same with Anna's parents and Mona."

"Thank you so much," Benny replied as he and Björn went back into Agnetha's and Frida's respective hospital rooms.

"I know that it's Frida who's in labor," Agnetha announced as Björn walked back into her hospital room and closed the curtain before heading back over to his wife's bedside. "Mama, Papa, you guys didn't have to lie to me. I heard what Björn and Benny were saying to each other out in the hall."
