The sound of shuriken hitting scattered targets around the trees was the only thing heard beside the deep breaths emitting from the dark-haired boy.
"Again." His mentor repeated for the tenth time in a row as he stood meters away from the tired boy.
"Aw but hyung I already hit all targets forty times already." The boy whined as he wiped his chin from sweat.
The mentor huffed, "Beomgyu now is not the time to slack off. The tournament is exactly eighteen hours away from now." He reminded.
Beomgyu blinked in response, "Jimin it's not like you haven't told me that since the week started. I get it but shouldn't I be saving my energy for tomorrow?"
Jimin squinted his eyes when Beomgyu called him just by his name. He knew Beomgyu was working hard but now wasn't the time for breaks. "Listen the tournament will make or break your future and you know I want you to succeed." Jimin said sincerely.
"I know hyung but we've been training for three years already, I think I'm ready for tomorrow." Beomgyu replied clenching his fist in slight pride.
Jimin raked his hair back with his fingers. "Fine let's go back home and rest." His words made Beomgyu's eyes sparkle. Sleep was very much a plus after training.

Chaeryeong swiftly blocked Hoseok's punches that came flying from every direction. To say that Hoseok was good at close combat was an understatement he was the best. Every blow held equal velocity and force that it was hard to recover from just one hit. How he was able to was a question only he knew the answer for.
She quickly lifted her left leg sending a kick directly toward Hoseok's abdomen making him drop his hands. Chaeryeong was then thrown back by him making her switch her footing. She eyed Hoseok's movements as she held her fists up in a defensive position.
Sweat cascaded down the side of her cheek as she watched Hoseok compose himself. Without warning, he sent his arm flying forward trying to hit her in the face. Quickly Chaeryeong tilted her head to the left dodging the attack and sent an uppercut right into his stomach. Hoseok winced as a loud cough exited his windpipe. He fell with a hard thud as he continued to cough.
"Oh no did I use to much force?" Chaeryeong worriedly questioned as she patted his back.
Hoseok shook his head, "No you did fine I just wasn't expecting a sudden move like that from you." He responded taking the water she handed him. It was true Chaeryeong wasn't one to rely on uppercuts so the attack was a sudden shock he wasn't prepared for.
Chaeryeong smiled, "I know! I've been considering on changing the tactics from time to time especially for tomorrow!" She exclaimed happy her moves were becoming a lot swifter and surprising.
Hoseok chuckled as he ruffled her hair, "You'll do great tomorrow no doubt." He complimented making her jump at the praise.
