~An AU of the Grom episode~
Amity stared at the note that she had just written and signed "I can't do this she'll reject me." Amity fiddled with the pen in her hand still staring at the note not sure what to do. 3 minutes passed and she decided at the last minute to take it with her
*At school*
Amity carried the note in her hands along with her books and went to go look for Luz. Amity was so deep in thought that she accidentally bumped into Luz dropping all her stuff "Watch it nitwit" she said out of habit before looking up to see Luz. "Oh hi Luz and co, sorry about that" she said getting up and picking up her stuff
"It's okay, here your note" Luz said holding out the note, Amity freaked out and snatched the note away. "Man you got some quick grabbers" "It's just- It's private" Amity said looking down, she didn't want to lie but it was the only thing that she thought of
*Time Skip*
The end of the school day was coming near and Amity decided to put the note in Luz's locker before running out not wanting to see Luz's reaction in case it was bad. The bell rang and Luz went to her locker and opened it causing the note to fall out, Luz put her stuff in her locker before picking up the note
"That's weird, isn't this Amity's note? And why was it in my locker?" Luz asked herself before opening the note 'Luz will you go to grom with me? Amity' Luz was a blushing mess 'Amity wants to take me to grom? Luz blushed more before writing a reply and sending it to Amity
*Meanwhile*
Amity was getting ready for grom nervous if Luz got the note or not and how she would react, her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on her window. "Huh?" Amity asked before looking out to see nothing but owlbert holding a note "Oh hey owlbert, note from Luz?" Owlbert nodded. Amity took the note and read it 'Dear Amity I would love to grom with you 💜" Amity blushed and smiled, she was gonna get to go to grom with her crush
*Time Skip*
Amity was outside the gym playing with her hands, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. Amity's thoughts were interrupted when Luz showed up wearing a tuxedo and a puffy shirt "So? What do you think?" Amity smiled "It looks nice, ready to go?" "Yep" Luz said taking her hand
They went into the ball hand in hand with some people staring which made Amity uncontrollable, Luz saw this and turned her to face her "Hey don't look at them, look at me." Amity slightly smiled as Luz put her hand around Amity's waist and bringing her closer, Amity blushed heavily before shyly wrapping her hands around Luz's neck. They started dancing and it felt like the room melted away
*Time Skip*
As the song was coming to an end Luz slowly lifted up Amity from the dipping position she was in and kissed her, Amity blushed very heavily and kissed back. A minute passed and they both pulled away "Best grom ever" Luz whispered
