We were fighting Haku and me and Naruto were losing. A wave of needles came towards Naruto, instinctively I push him down and cover him. I feel my conscious fading.
"Sasuke...why"
I look at Naruto and open my mouth. I mouth words which felt so foreign to me.
"I don't want to live, but you do..."
All I see is black.
Am I dead? I expected it to be different. Will I see Kaa-San and Tou-San? What about Shisui-Kun?
I see a light, I move towards it without thought. I reach out to grab it and feel my hand in another. I open my eyes and see my younger self's hand holding my mother's hand.
She strokes my face and smiles.
"Let's go give Nii-San a big hug! He just came back from his long mission"
We both leave the kitchen and head to the door where a tired man in an ANBU uniform was taking of his shoes. I run towards him but stop before I jump on him.
"What's wrong Sasuke?"
"Sasuke?"
"Sasuke!"
"SASUKE!"
I open my eyes to see Sakura crying on my chest and Naruto, Kakashi-sensei and Tazuna standing over me.
I sigh.
I should have hugged him with that chance...
