I look at the ground and bite my lip to conceal my pain.

"Anyone who wishes to forfeit may leave now"

I look at Kabuto in surprise as he raises his hand. Meh, not my problem. He doesn't concern me. I look back at Proctor Hayate. He coughs and tells us more about the preliminary. From the corner of my eye, I see Sakura staring at me in concern. She is about to lift up her hand and I know it is not for her. I grab my hand and shake my head.

"But Sasuke, you are hurt!"

I glare at her, causing her to gulp.

I face one of Kabuto's teammates. I activate my Sharing but I cause me more pain. I feel that strength start the seep out of my neck. It burns like the surface of the sun. I grab my neck as I deactivate it.

I dodge the incoming attack. He shoots a fury of punches. I block them. I feel that my arms are going to have bruises. I backflip a couple of meters to safety. I regain my breathe and lunge at him. I land a few punches and roundhouse kick the side of his gut.

My breathing has gotten raspy. I do hands signs for my fireball jutsu. I feel the burning pain in my neck again. Fireball jutsu! I say in my head

A massive fiery mass in a spherical shape in created and hurled at the man. He is too late to move. It hits him. He screams out in pain but recovers more or less. He regains his posture and charges at me. We engage once again in a fierce taijutsu battle.

Somehow I am pinned to the floor. He is sucking out my chakra with a jutsu of his. I feel myself getting weaker and weaker.

"Just give up! I have got you now!"

I growl. I push him off. I disappear and reappear behind him. Just like Lee. I send him a series of punches, making him fly into the air. I leap above him and send a strong sharp kick to his gut.
