Epilogue

Everyone around the table seems to be just as surprised as I was when I saw the ring. Nobody has said a word yet, but I'm sure that within seconds everyone will start questioning us - but mostly me, if we aren't too young to get married. But they don't get it. It's not about getting married, it's about us making a promise. And in our case, this promise is huge because we had both sworn off marriage.

I don't even listen to the congratulations and questions that fly around the room. I just look at Harry who's sitting next to me and realize I will never, ever regret this decision. Harry's dad brings out a toast and they are soon followed by a lot of other people. ''Do you want to get some fresh air?'' Harry asks me when everyone is chatting around again. I nod my head and follow him outside to the back yard that's been lit with small lamps that usually decorate the christmas tree.

''How'd you think it went?'' He asks as he sits down on one of the lounge sofa's and pulls me down with him. ''I don't know, didn't really pay attention.'' I shrugs and cuddle a little closer because it's so damn cold. ''I don't really care about what they have to say either, this is our decision, our plan, our future.'' I hear and feel him sigh before he presses his lips to the top of my head.

''I'm really glad that you were in the park that night, as twisted as it might sound.'' I hear him mumble against my head. A small chuckle leaves my lips, thinking about the past few months. ''It does sound twisted, but I agree.'' I turn my face to him and tuck a strand of hair behind his ear. ''I was a great criminal though, right?'' He cockily smiles.

I laugh, right in his face. ''You were the worst criminal ever. You were way too sweet for me and... I don't know. You just seem harmful. I actually don't understand why didn't see through it.'' He smiles at me and quickly pecks my lips. ''I think I was playing a great criminal.'' He mumbles onto my lips.

And then I said ''A very smooth criminal.''.

That was it guys. I'm sorry for the late update, I know I've said I'd update 'soon' ages ago and I didn't keep my promise.
