Understanding can hurt
She's seen her dreams fade away,
And her hopes gone,
In a flash of words,
She tries to keep up,
But naturally falls behind,
She knows she's different,
But how big is the difference?
She tries to escape,
But knows it's useless,
She's 19 now, and yet,
Her life feels like it's going down,
If only there was a way,
For them to understand,
Her dreams, her hopes,
And who she truly is,
From the inside,
For now, she will face,
The pain she has been suffering for so long.
