Childhood Besties or more?

Chapter 1

"Karina Vritra get downstairs this instant" 
That's the first thing I heard this morning coming from my mom downstairs. At that moment I knew I had overslept.

"shit, shit, shit"

     I threw on a random sweatshirt and I sprinted down our silver marble staircase. I ran through our living room and into our kitchen that smelled like bacon and eggs.

"Morning mom, it smells good"

"Don't change the topic, summers almost over and you're going to Hogwarts, you can't oversleep there"

"I know mom, it won't happen again"

"Eat breakfast then go get ready, we're going to Diagon Alley with the Malfoy's today to get your school supplies"

       I ate my breakfast as fast as  could while not choking on it. I went back upstairs to get dressed. I threw on my black leggings, my cropped green cami, and my favorite pair of green nike jordans. I decided to let my long brown ombre hair stay wavy for the day.
  We do pretty much everything with the Malfoy's, they're like our family but are not blood related at all. My dad and Mr. Malfoy went to Hogwarts together, of course in Slytherin and now they work at the Ministry of Magic together. They have a son a couple months older than me, Draco. Over the years we've become best friends. It's not like we had a choice though, we have spent every christmas, thanksgiving and any other celebration together. My parents, Rowena and Oscar were both in Slytherin and grew up as the school's sweethearts. They started dating in they're fourth year, after being friends since the first. So no pressure for me to find my hubby soon, right? I'm really excited to finally go to Hogwarts. I've heard so much "the most magical place on earth" . The thing is my whole life has been filled with magic but this time it will actually be mine. It's time for us to go to Diagon Alley.

"Karina! The Malfoy's are here"

      I grabbed my bag and ran down three flights of stairs as fast as I could to the front door. I joined my parents and we walked to the Malfoy's limo parked outside. When we get in the car my parents sit by Narcissa and Lucius.

"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy"

"Good Morning Karina"

      I sit down next to Draco and he punches me in the arm right off the bat.

"I heard you were late because you slept in too late, we could have already been there"

"You know what, I value my beauty sleep"

   He rolls his eyes at me and the parents laugh at our stupid bickering.

"Are we almost there, i'm so ready"  I say

"20 minutes sweety"
