It was finally September 1st, the day I get to go to Hogwarts. I woke up at exactly 7:45 am so I would have time to get ready. I threw my covers off of my covers, made my bed and ran to my closet. I picked out my black cargo pants and small green cami tank that had silver chains as the straps. After I put my outfit on I found my favorite necklace and rings. I looked at myself in the mirror, "not bad" but now I need to find some matching shoes. I decided on my favorite pair of Louis Vuitton heel boots.
I walked downstairs with my trunk and mini bag just for my wand. My robes ready for me to change into in my trunk. My mom put a charm on it so it has unlimited space. I literally ended up taking my whole closet. I made my dad take my trunk downstairs because I could barely pick it up. For breakfast today my mom made my favorite ever! Pancakes with blueberries and whipped creme on top. I ate it up so fast it was like it was never there. After breakfast my mom told me to get ready and then we would go pick up Draco and head to King's Cross Station.
I felt bad for him because his father was always working and his mom trailing after him so they left him alone a lot. I didn't get it, today was an important day for him and they didn't even care.
I decided to curl my long ombre hair today because I need to make a good impression of course.
My mom always say "Dress to impress, even if your going to get groceries because you never know what could happen"
Honestly I agree with her and plus I love getting all done up and looking pretty. I don't wear makeup except the occasional mascara to make my lashes look longer."Karina, let's go it's time to leave." my mom shouted at me.
I came back downstairs with my bag and was ready to go. We got in the limo and drove to pick up Draco. When we got to his house the gate opened and the car parked out in front. I ran to the front door and rang the doorbell. About two seconds later Draco opened it holding his wand and his house elf Dobby carrying his huge trunk. I gave him a big hug because I could tell he was upset that his parents couldn't see him off to school.
"I know your parents can't aren't coming, but c'mon it's our first day at Hogwarts!"
"I know Karina, I just wished they didn't do this every time something important was happening."
"I'm sorry"
"It's fine, lets just go"
He put his trunk in the back of the car and hopped in behind me. The ride to King's Cross was pretty quiet with some small talk. When we finally got there it was packed with muggles. I honestly find them so boring, what is life without some magic in it? We had to walk to platform 9 and ¾ with our trolley. It was 10:30 and the train leaves at 11 so we had a couple of minutes to say our goodbyes and find a cabin. We walked through the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10 and then I saw the Hogwarts Express. It was so brightly colored the smoke that came out of it was pitch black. I looked at my parents and gave them a huge hug saying goodbye.
"Have a great time Karina, and make sure to stay on top of all your classes."
"I will mom and dad, I promise."
"And Draco, you too be careful and stay strong, I know your parents would be there if they could."
"Thank You Mrs. Vritra, I hope that's true."
"Let's go Draco, we need to get a cabin for the 5 of us."
Me and Draco walked onto the train and walked through the corridor to find an empty cabin. We found a nice looking cabin after about 4 minutes. I already knew that Crabbe and Goyle would get here together, most likely only a couple of minutes before the train's departure. I hoped Pansy would find our cabin because I haven't seen her in about a month and missed her. I sat down on one side and Draco sat down across from me. I could tell he was still bummed about his parents not coming to say goodbye so decided to cheer him up. I had put my wand in my bag and so I decided to take it out and try a spell.
