Katherine went into her kitchen, leaving me alone with Liam as we waited for the rest of our friends to arrive. It was a typical Friday night and we usually hung out at Katherine's at least once a month.
"So how is your girlfriend?" I tried to casually start a conversation.
"She's good," He answered.
"That's cool," God I felt awkward as hell, "how long have you been together?"
"About 3 weeks now."
"Oh Liam," Katherine said as she came back with three beers. She handed us each one, "You're so modest. You haven't told her who you're dating have you?"
"No."
"Oh?" I said, intrigued but also somewhat scared to know, "Who?"
"Lily James." Katherine blurted out before Liam could say anything.
"Oh wow. She's so pretty." I felt a little jealous because I've been in love with Liam for the longest time. I met him back in 2013 and immediately became attracted to him.
"What is she like?" I asked but I didn't really care.
"She's really great," He smiled, "She's so funny and charismatic."
"She really is," Katherine agreed as she took a sip of her beer.
We suddenly heard a knock at the door. "Louis," Katherine said as she walked to the front door.
"How the hell do you know?" Liam laughed.
"I just know!" She shouted before opening the door.
"Hey love," I heard Louis say, then things got quiet.
Liam and I sat in silence as we waited for Katherine and Louis to finally come into the living room.
"Celene just texted me that her and Harry aren't coming," Katherine said after looking at her phone, "she said she has 'the flu' and Harry's gonna take care of her," She rolled her eyes.
"I have a feeling Niall and Jordan aren't coming either," I mentioned.
"Oh of course not," Katherine said sarcastically, "Why?"
"Probably cause they're having sex. I'm just assuming cause you know how Jordan is," I laughed.
"Well you're right cause she just texted me."
"It's fine, it's fine, we can have fun without them," Louis said.
"How bout I make some drinks?" Katherine suggested.
"Is that all you know how to do?" Liam laughed.
"Okay okay if you don't want drinks-"
"No I do," He smiled beautifully.
"Oh shit Audrey," Katherine said as we were walking down the stairs to the basement.
"I think she's with Zayn tonight." I said.
"God they should just date already. They're always together."
"Nah I don't think so," Liam said, "I think they're better off as friends."
"No," Louis chimed in, "they clearly want each other. They've known each other for like eight years now. I'm surprised they're not together already."
Katherine went behind the bar, "So what'll it be tonight?"
"Martinis?" Liam suggested.
"Ew no. You know I don't have the stuff to make that and I hate olives."
