Liam and I were hanging out with Katherine and Louis in their basement as usual.
"So Liam," Katherine started, "Still with Lily?"
"Uh yeah," he said with his arm wrapped around me.
"I see."
"Wait you haven't broken up with her yet?" Louis said.
"He just doesn't have the guts," I teased.
"Whatever spoons, I'm not gonna judge," Katherine said, "but this will come back to bite you in the ass, I'm just saying."
"Oh my god spoons? You haven't called me that in a while," Liam laughed, "I kinda miss it."
"Yeah, why are you afraid of spoons again?"
"Shut up," he laughed.
"No baby it's spooning he doesn't like," Louis joked.
"Oh right, because he's incapable of affection," Katherine said.
"You guys are so rude," Liam flashed his gorgeous, white teeth.
"Hey remember that time when Liam rejected my hug," Katherine mentioned.
"Why do you always bring that up?" Liam looked embarrassed.
I just sat there silent since I didn't know them when they were younger and never understood any of their conversations.
"Aww that was cute," Louis said, "Katherine used to make him uncomfortable," he said to me.
"Oh I'm sure," I smiled.
"I made all of you guys uncomfortable," Katherine stood up and went behind the bar, "Drinks?"
"I thought you'd never ask," I sprinted over to the bar. Liam and Louis followed me.
"So, what are we having?" She asked.
"I want a mimosa," I said.
"I'll do a Blue Moon," Liam said.
"And you just assume I have that?" Katherine said.
"You have everything."
"And Louis you want a bourbon," she smiled and winked at him.
"Since when do you like bourbon?" Liam asked him.
"I've turned him into a bourbon whore," Katherine chimed in.
"It's growing on me," Louis said.
"It's nasty," I mentioned.
"You have no taste Poppy," Katherine rolled her eyes.
We watched as Katherine quickly gave Louis and Liam their drinks before making mine. She mixed the orange juice with the champagne and tasted it before handing it to me.
"It needs something," she said, looking around for something to add to it.
"It's fine," I said.
"No! Lemme add something, please?"
"Fine."
"Mangoes!" She opened her fridge and grabbed a Tupperware full of sliced mangoes. She placed a few in the drink.
"Really? That was it?" I said, "I was expecting more."
"Y'all expect too much from me," she said as she poured herself a glass of bourbon.
Louis and Liam went back over to the couch and started up a conversation.
"You and Louis are getting pretty serious," I smirked.
