Chapter 2

(F/N)'s POV

I looked around the area, there wasn't any sign of Go or Mrs. Mutoh, Ayumu's Brother and Mother, no sign of Nanami either. I sighed in frustration and worry, they should've been here by now, right?

I ran my hand through my (H/C) hair, it was obvious that I was stressed, my head ache isn't exactly helping either. I turned my head to a guy who was leaning on a tree, seemingly distracted on his phone.

"Oh, (N/N), who are you looking at?"

I looked to my side and saw Ayumu, I gestured her if she knew the guy, she nodded while smiling.

'Does she have a crush on him?'

"He's a friend of mine, his name is Haruo Koga"

"Ah, alright"

I decided to end the conversation there, I still couldn't really comprehend on what's happening ti'll now, well since, Japan hasn't really had a MASSIVE Earthquake like this one.

Turning my head up to the sky, I wondered if my other friends were okay, I knew some of them lived here, but not close to where I am, one of them were in Okinawa as far as I know.

Suddenly hearing familiar footsteps, I turned my head and saw Go and Nanami! I ran up to them and saw Go was bleeding, in instinct, I took a look at his Injury and saw he was only cut at his eyelid. Sighing in relief, I turned to Mr.Mutoh who has his stapler ready, mentally praying for Go since that WILL hurt.

Looking away from that scene, I decided to go up to Nanami who was looking quite stressed just like I was earlier

"Hey Nachii, you okay?"

Nachii is a nickname I gave for her when I watched this Anime about Basketball.

"Yeah, but my Phone died and I can't contact her" (Yeah so, I forgot the reason why Nanami needed a Phone)

"Oh, I think my Phone is still at Full Charge.."

I quickly snatched my Phone from my Back Pocket and hand it over to her, with Guest Mode on of course. She nodded at me as a sign of Thank You, nodding back, she dialed a number.

Not long after, Mrs.Mutoh arrived, she was drenched but at least she's safe! I ran up to her and bowed

"Woah there kid, no need to be formal around our Family."

"Ah, alright, Mr.Mu- I mean Mr.Koichi told me the same thing, haha.."

I scratched the back of my head in embarrassment.

Looking around me, there were more people than when I arrived, it looks like a gathering of some sort, but not a happy one, that's for sure.

Nanami then went up to me, returning my phone back and muttered a small 'Thanks', she looked disappointed to say the least, though I didn't say anything, afraid to upset her more.

I went up to the railings, with my phone in hand, the lights were illuminating brightly which got me fascinated quickly, too bad I can't admire it for long, we're in the middle of a catastrophe anyway.

I decided to talk to the other people to pass some time.

It was now nighttime, deciding to head to sleep, I layed down on the futon that was provided for some of us.

I kept tossing and turning but couldn't fall asleep, opening my phone, I saw that I still had Data and Signal available, I decided to watch KI TE's latest video, but what I watched horrified me.

Fun fact: I don't read the title of the videos I watch. Now this is a reminder to myself to read the titles before watching it.

I saw that Okinawa sunk. My Online Friend lived there. The First Friend I made online, died. The one who I rant all my problems to died. The one who always comfort me when I'm down, died.

'Chiaki.. No.. Please..'

I guess I cried since Ayumu suddenly asked me if I was okay

"Yeah, don't worry about it, go to sleep Ayumu."

She looked hesitant at first but simply nodded. I knew she was worried, but I still need to take responsibility on them, even if it means sacrificing myself for them.

I turned my head back up at the sky and hoped for Chiaki to be happy, wherever she is at least.

I woke up with puffy eyes, knowing that I slept while crying was a bad idea, but I really couldn't help it.

I fished my phone on the side and checked what time it is, as well as how much percentage I had left.

'7:43 AM, 90%'

Not a full 8 hour sleep, huh? At least I still have a lot of percentage.

I got up and stretched my arms, hearing the satisfying of bones cracking, after that, I fixed the futon I slept in and went to the railings once again.

I noticed that a building was letting out smoke, I still wasn't really aware since I just woke up.

I suddenly widen my eyes and finally processed what was happening.

'That building is on fire, it's gonna explode!'

I felt a bit scared at first, but calmed down since there was a huge space between where we were. It wasn't really close to us at least, if it was, it will affect us too.

I sighed and only waited for it to explode, this was gonna be loud.
