Chapter 7

3rd Person POV

They were now walking towards to god knows where, when suddenly Ayumu's stomach gurgled, meaning that she was hungry. Ayumu could only wrap her arms around her stomach as she walks with her family and friend.

(F/N) only gave the girl an apologetic smile as they continued their journey, when suddenly, Ayumu's dad came across a large fence, with signs saying "DO NOT ENTER" "RESTRICTED AREA" "DANGER!" but did they care? A little bit, yes, as it could put their lives in danger, but Ayumu's Dad could only be optimistic and climbed over the fence to dig for Yams, as Ayumu was hungry and he did not want his Daughter to be hungry.

He started to dig out the Yams that were supposedly under the dirt, Go was also there but their Mother asked for his help so he got out of the area quickly. Nanami then suddenly suggests that she and Ayumu find some food too.

As Ayumu was walking towards Nanami, she moved a vine away from a sign, only to look at her Dad, that was already under the dirt, and then...

"BOOM"

The sign had said

"EXPLOSIVES"

"DEADLY ACCIDENT 1965
NO TRESPASSING, DANGER!

"UNEXPLODED MUNITIONS COULD BE BURIED HERE"

(F/N) turned around when she heard the explosion, only to see the blood splatter go onto the air, as well as on her clothes and Mari's Clothes. She and Mari dropped the wooden plates in shock, what made it worse was the left hand of Koichiro, which was dropped next to them, and for the umpteenth time, (F/N) fainted.

'Shit, how long was I out?'

(F/N) rubbed her head in pain, it felt like she had been hit with a tornado! She slowly opened her eyes to see the sky moving, no, more like she was moving. She slowly sat up, the pain subsiding a few seconds after, she looked around, and soon enough, they were on a truck, she was with Haruo, Ayumu, and Mari (Mother).

She wondered who was driving the truck, as she suspected that Nanami wasn't even allowed to drive yet, that raised suspicion over the protagonist.

2nd Person POV

You looked at the front to see Nanami/Nachii's back and some random dude driving. You tilt your head to the side, wanting to question the others but they seemed to be asleep, and you, being the respectful pre-adult you are, decided to stay quiet.

All of you stopped by a gas station to get some gas, (You already questioned them about the guy driving) nature suddenly called you after 2 minutes. You started to navigate where the bathroom was when you suddenly heard voices. It was an unfamiliar voice and it was also Nanami's Voice, you quickly rushed over to where they are, only to see the Random guy and Nanami throwing punches at each other. You sneaked/snuck up on the guy and bashed his head with your Duffle Bag.

(You carry your duffle bag everywhere)

But that didn't knock him out, it only made him lose his balance and face planted onto the ground, Nanami quickly took advantage of this and took his taser, to which you didn't notice since it was covered by his torso, and tased his legs, twice.

"Nachii, I think he's- Uhm... Unconscious."

In fact, he was dead, but you didn't really want to think that way as you didn't want to bother them carrying you everywhere.

Nanami nodded and took his glasses off, she seemed to be accomplished about something.

"Nachii, is that for Haruo?"

You mentally took note of her flustered face, shaking her head no and looking away from you.

"Ne, Nachii, I was only joking"

A small smile crept onto your face, Nanami being Nanami, she quickly went over to Haruo and replace his glasses with new ones.

"Ne... You guys would make a good couple."
