The ground shook violently, the brilliant white marble cracked as the son of Poseidon stormed, quite literally, his way to Olympus. His sea green eyes were stormy and dark, like the ocean during a storm.
They had taken her from him. Once again the Gods had separated them from one another when they needed each other the most. The terrors of Tartarus was almost too much for one of them to handle alone. They took his wise girl and that was unforgivable.
As he made his way through the gardens of Olympus the earthquakes in his wake destroyed the marvellous buildings, leaving them in ruins.
They didn't deserve them, they didn't deserve the magical things she created for them.
He stormed into the throne room leaving the citizens of Olympus terrified cowering for their lives.
"HERA GIVE HER BACK" He demanded "YOU SEPARATED US ONCE BEFORE, WAS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU?"
He knew it was disrespectful to speak to the Queen of the gods the way he did. He didn't care and he didn't care that he didn't care.
The Gods turned to Hera glaring at her, even Zeus turned to glare at his wife.
"What does the boy mean?" Zeus asked. His voice was loud and demanding and held little to no care for the matter.
Before Hera could speak another voice interrupted her.
"The sea spawn refers to my daughter. Chiron reported that she disappeared from Camp, He is here because he believes Mother has taken her. His anger is warranted" Athena spoke clear and her words laced with anger, she said the word Mother as if it tasted bad.
Percy stepped back a bit in surprise, of all the Gods to defend his anger he did not even consider Athena a possibility. He didn't have time to focus on his surprise before total chaos broke out on Olympus. The Gods began to yell at each other and at Hera, mostly at Hera.
Percy cleared his throat in an attempt to get the Gods attention. Realising that attempt was futile he took Riptide out of his pocket and uncapped it. His sword sprung to life. He drove his sword through the marble, surprised the sword actually went through. A large fissure extended from Percy's sword and ran towards one of the support pillars causing it to collapse. This gained the attention of the gods.
"Give her back now, you useless excuse for a Goddess" He spat, glaring at Hera.
"Per-" His father began but Percy cut him off
"This is the last straw, how many times must we save your sorry ass's yet you keep tearing us apart" Percy looked apologetically at his father before turning his glare to Zeus "I swear on the river Styx to never help the Olympians with any of their problems until Annabeth is by my side"
Thunder clapped meaning the oath was accepted.
"SEIZE HIM" Zeus ordered
Before Ares and Athena could reach him Percy disappeared leaving only white particles in the air where he stood.
Poseidon looked blankly where his son once stood, unsure of how he got away. The Gods looked to Poseidon for an explanation, They paled when they saw, he too had no idea.
The gods looked at each other with fearful faces, the day they all feared had come.
For the greatest hero to ever live, the two-time saviour of Olympus had sworn to never help them again.
Perseus Jackson had made the Gods of Olympus terrified with a single sentence.
