Oki, this be a confession chapter, not in any way related to the storyline. I just wanted to write non-soulmate-related-chapters in between the chatfic chapters because these ships are already together in the story. Also, these confession chapters don't have anything to do with each other. I also wrote an Iwaoi One-shot. You can check it out.
Lev slowly opened his eyes to the sight of a tuft of caramel-brown hair. His friend, and fellow volleyball teammate, Yaku. And maybe something else. Maybe. Maybe, he had a crush on Yaku.
But he strongly denied it, which was...hard.
"You fell for him so hard, you fell on your face, then you tripped him with your dumbass long fucking legs and he fell on top of you. And then he fell for yo- oh wait, yeah, this is one sided love!" Teased Kindaichi. Oikawa stood beside him, nodding along and laughing at Lev.
"Yeah, no. That isn't what happened, and it isn't very nice of you to make fun of my legs. I'm half Russian, alright?" Oikawa nodded, smiling and reached out a hand, which Lev took. He was thrusted up and Yaku's head fell onto the ground. They were at Kindaichi's house.
"Ow, what the fuck?" It was Yaku
"Oh, you uh...fell asleep..." Said Kindaichi. "Yeah, so why did I wake up? Let me rest in peace, ok?" Said Yaku, blinking rapidly to wake himself up. "Fell asleep on Lev!" Whispered Oikawa to Kindaichi. Yaku's eyes narrowed dangerously as he wordlessly pushed passed them, walking out the door and slamming it behind him.
The three just smiled and laughed. They noticed almost all of Yaku's annoyed expression and found it hilarious. What they didn't notice was the light pink dusting Yaku's cheeks, because he heard what Oikawa had said to Kindaichi. He knew exactly where he had fallen asleep.
Let me just explain the situation here. Oikawa, Kindaichi, Lev and Yaku were having a sleepover at Kindaichi's house. Lev fell asleep on a beanbag because the bed was too small, with everyone else falling asleep on a mattress. Seperate mattress, because they are not gay. I mean, they are but...
But Oikawa and Kindaichi totally ship Levyaku (We stan), so they woke up earlier to put Yaku on top of Lev so that they would wake up how they were positioned. It worked.
~The next fucking day~
Yaku woke up early to plan. So much to plan, too much to do. He decided he was going to let the light of the last day's events pave the way for a confession to... someone. Ok, his name begins with L. He's tall and half-russian. You guessed it? Congratulations. What surprise.
He decided to send Lev a text, ignore him for the rest of the day, then...y'know, completely go against his personality and y'know. Confess
Yaku pulled out his phone and slowly pulled into Lev's contacts. In an almost trance-like state, he clicked on the typing board and the keyboard popped up. He then snapped back to reality, realising he isn't know what to say to Lev. 'I like you' felt too bland. 'I love you' was too fast. What did he say? And then he remembered he wasn't actually confessing. That was at school.
He was just telling Lev to meet him.
Russian Giraffe
Lev :Me
Russian Giraffe: Yeah?
Can you come to my house after school?: Me
Russian Giraffe: Ok?
Thanks: Me
And for the rest of the day, Lev was ignored and therefore left him wondering why the fuck did Yaku call him Lev instead of insulting him?
~Change of Pov to Lev~
Lev slowly remembered what he had to do. Go to Yaku's house. Simple, but not. Hey, your crush just randomly asks you over and your blunt ass is flustered for the first time in forever! Wow!
But he persevered through the 10 minute walk to Yaku's house, trying his hardest not to think about what could possibly happen.
"YAKUUUUUUU-"
"Shut the FUCK UP." Replied Yaku sharply and Lev smiled, rubbing the back of his head. "What did you need, Yaku?" Yaku flushed a light pink and frowned, as though he was trying to remember.
"Come to my room. I have...something to tell you," he replied. Lev raised an eyebrow, still smiling lightly. Yaku was about to turn around when he flinched and punched Lev in the shoulder. "Ow!" Cried Lev, his smile replaced by a hurt frown.
"Deal with it," said Yaku, walking into his bedroom. Lev followed shortly after, still wondering what Yaku was planning and not having the faintest idea what was going to happen. Yaku was close to crying with the anticipation.
Lev was then asked to sit next to Yaku on the bed, and as Yaku took a deep breath in, Lev began to actually want to know what was going to happen. Yaku began with,
"Lev, I know we've been friends for a year and I realised something a month ago," before closing his eyes and continuing. "That I have developed certain...feelings." Lev slowly began to realise what was going down.
"These feelings probably aren't mutual, and that's honestly fine. I just needed to get this off my chest. I love you. I love you a lot more than I should, Lev Haiba-" but he was cut off as Lev smiled and pressed his own lips on Yaku's.
There was almost an immediate reaction as Yaku's eyes flew open. Then they closed again as he slowly realised that the feelings probably were mutual. He slowly felt himself drawn closer to Lev, not caring that his door was half open, not caring that his mum probably wasn't going to accept him.
He was quite certain that if he had Lev, he would be fine.
Sorry if this is shit, I kinda just wrote the first word, then sentence, then paragraph and just went with it.
