Have you ever encountered someone, a stranger, who you wished your lives would have intersected for a longer period of time than what had been? Seven billion people in the world, and what are the odds your paths crossed in this timeline? Of these people whose touch could have written brand new chapters in your life before vanishing into the world that exists beyond the locus of our own existence.

It could have been a friendly smile or a bright twinkle of their eyes, the way their fingers move across the glass surface of their phones, or the way their ears perk when a certain song plays on their earphones. Those moments shared, although fleeting, with an unshakeable soul. Seemingly inconsequential gestures that lead to an open-ended question in a vast universe of possibilities. Each gesture, each sound, each touch; if even one had been unlocked, could have led to an entirely different existence but yet till now the question is unanswered, the story undiscovered.

How many times have you longed to turn back and run to one possibility? Wishing that if things could have done a bit differently, maybe you wouldn't be here wondering of the endless possibilities that could have unfolded. Those small encounters, a reminiscent of how our lives and those we met are like paper airplanes, sailing through the vast ocean of the sky. A chance encounter, we fly side by side before a gust pulls us away from each other, creating between us only an eternity of untaken chances.

This is to all those who have stories that could have been written, songs that could have been sung, poetries that could have been proclaimed, and pictures that could have been painted.
