Jadewood sat in silence, her head bowed, as her maid, Snowsparrow, padded around searching for herbs.

"Here you are, Jadewood." Snowsparrow gently set down a package of herbs.

"Thank you, Snowsparrow." Jadewood blinked gratefully at her maid, before bending her head to eat them.

"I can't believe that we are going to live in StoneClan!" The young she-cat mewed excitedly, her white fur bristling. The molly-in-waiting has been acting like this ever since Jadewood got the invitation to live in StoneClan.

"Me neither." Jadewood agreed. She was just double-checking the herb supplies when she heard pawsteps.

"Who ordered a sedan?" A rough voice yowled.

"It is time," Jadewood meowed quietly, standing up. Snowsparrow went outside to check the sedan.

"Come, my lady." Snowsparrow returned with the sedan pulling tom.

Jadewood looked at her beautiful home. "I will be back," she promised.

The first impression of the Stone Mansion was that it was big. Very big. And luxurious. There were two guards flanking the stone walls.

They must have spent a fortune on these walls, Jadewood thought. She had never seen stone walls before, she had only seen bramble barriers and fern shelters. Stone walls were impossible to destroy, but they were also almost impossible to make.

Snowsparrow hopped down from the sedan to speak with the guards, and a few moments later the two cats stepped aside for the sedan.

Once inside, the stone wall paled in comparison. There was a huge den made of brambles, while smaller dens lined with ferns littered the area. There were three pools and a small stream, and at the back Jadewood could make out the outline of a forest.

A beautiful ginger tabby shot out of the main den at the sound of pawsteps.

"Are you Jadewood?" She asked.

Jadewood nodded shakily, even though she didn't know why she was so nervous.

"Great StarClan, you look the same as your mother," the ginger she-cat mewed. "Let's get you up and going, huh?" She helped the white molly out of the sedan, with Snowsparrow trailing behind her.

"My name is Phoenixblaze, and I'm Torquoisestone's mate." The ginger tabby introduced herself.

"It's a pleasure meeting you," Jadewood mewed.

They started towards the bramble den, but Phoenixblaze stopped Jadewood.

"I suggest you to keep your distance from the young Lord." She meowed, her emerald eyes serious.

Jadewood flicked her ear. "Why?"

"He is a known player, and he is already betrothed to Jewelbranch. I wouldn't want you to be heartbroken!" Phoenixstone meowed. Something made the she-cat radiate authority, and Jadewood was in no mood to argue.

Jadewood dipped her head. "Thank you for warning me."

"No problem." Phoenixblaze purred. "Come on, Jewelstar wants to meet you!" She bounded towards the den entrance.
