Jooheon's POV

I knocked on the door of the greenhouse. It was about 15 minutes after dinner so Prof. Jaebum should already be here by now. And yes, I decided to just meet Prof. Jaebum as I said instead of running away like what Wonho suggested.

You see, when I stayed at the hospital wing this afternoon, Wonho had told me to just not come. But me being the Hufflepuff I am, decided to just come anyways. Plus, Prof. Jaebum is way to scary when someone disobeys him.

I shivered at the thought.

It didn't help that it was the full moon and the overall atmosphere is creepy. Now, before you say anything about me being scaredy cat, just imagine being in my place.

All alone and cold. Outside the greenhouse that only had dim lighting accompanied by the cold night wind. The forbidden forest looked especially with the full moon illuminating the forest. It gave an extra eerie feeling.

'Bloody hell. Where's Prof. Jaebum?!' I thought as I knocked on the door. Not that i can't just open it. It's just that i don't want to end up deaf because of the mandrakes from yesterday. 

Or any of those weird plants from herbology, really.

I was about to knock again when I felt an eerie feeling form behind. Like someone was staring at me. I gulped and looked back, only to see rustling from the nearby tree.

'Come on Lee Jooheon, It's just a tree.' I chant in my head. 'Just some magical creature,'

I looked back at the tree and heard some scratching. 'Hopefully.' I timidly add as I gripped my wand.

I, being the idiot I am, decided to approach the tree. Wand gripped tightly on my hand.

I walked slowly and carefully.

'You can do it.'  I thought. 'You're just checking.'

just then, I heard a crunch. Like a bone being broken in two. I yelped and slammed my hand on my mouth. 'Dear Merlin.' I thought as I felt my heart drop.

The thing started to approach. I didn't see it. but I can feel it.

'Come on Lee Jooheon, you can do it!' I thought as I gripped and pointed my wand towards the tree.

I heard a growl and immediately walked back 100 steps.

"I can't do it! Dear Merlin help me!" I exclaimed as I huddled in front of the door. I felt heard steps and I started flailing my wand around.

"I can use this!" I screamed. "Mind you, I'm great at DADA, you foul creature!"

Something touched my arm and I let out a scream. 

"MY MOTHER WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS!!" I screamed as I grabbed the thing that touch me.

"And I will deduct points if you don't stop screaming in my ear, Mr. Lee."

I froze. Slowly, I looked up to see a disheveled Prof. Jaebum. His hand was the thing that I grabbed and my wand was on his throat.

"Ah! Prof. Jaebum." I chuckled awkwardly as I let go of his arm. "Ah, sorry about that, professor."
