What more can I ask for? Now my life feels complete. With a lovable woman as my life partner, lovable grandparents. Crazy yet sweet friends cum brothers-in-law. A sweet sister-in-law Nila, an idiotic man Daksh as my best friend, and caring in-laws.
Pari and my life had many ups and downs. We fought, we cried but also we sorted out before we went to sleep. It's been a year since Pari and I are married. Spending time with her I came to know her many hidden talents. The name I kept for her suits very well.
My Hush-Hush Girl.
She does everything making sure no one knows what she's doing. Once she gave everyone a blow. She had started her own company named AV Styles. It's named after Pari and me. She announced this on our first wedding anniversary. Like I said she did everything without anyone's notice.
Marrying her was the best thing for me. Sometimes. Sorry not sometimes—always my family supports her, including Daksh. As I said, I don't know what spell she cast on them that everyone supports her. I didn't feel left out, instead, I was happy that they love her more than me. However, my in-laws support me. It's like we should have switched our places.
Still, Daksh, Sharav, and I dread whenever we receive any messages or posts. All thanks to Akruti and Nila. These girls have made us scared of those petty things. Always pranking us either by messages or letters.
Akruti works as a part time PA for me, whilst handling our other company too. When I asked her the reason, 'I don't want to stay away from you', she said to me with a pout which I couldn't resist. Now our company has reached the international level and guess what Pari and I won the best entrepreneur in the women and men category.
I was so happy that day, that I kissed the hell out of her on the stage itself in front of the public too. The life of everyone is going smoothly. Now Sahil and Preeti are parents of a cute nine-month-old baby girl, Prerita Sahil Arora. My niece looks exactly like Sahil to which I scowled on the day she was born. Everyone laughed on hearing my words, to which Sahil smirked. He's like Sharav and Daksh to me, my other best friend.
As for the love birds, they're still dating. They want to spend enough time with each other before they can jump into haste. And Sharav, let me say that he remains a bit distant from us. Whenever all our families are together, he gives us some lame reason and tries not to attend the gathering. I very well know that it's the guilt about my parents, and the little girl who was kidnapped.
He's not the same Sharav I knew. He remains gloomy most of the time, doesn't talk much, inspite of being an introvert. He volunteered to handle our new company in London. The reason he volunteered because he's trying to stay away from us so that his presence couldn't hurt Preeti or me. We talked with him, but the adamant guy he was, refused to listen and went to London.
I just want someone to change him. To give us back the old Sharav. Someone who can make him understand that hanging over the past doesn't help us with anything.
I sighed looking at the files in front of me. Today my wife has ditched to come here because she had some other commitments. When I asked her the same she just barked at me. She's acting strangely for a few days. She shouts sometimes, cries over stupid things. It's like she's an emotional package.
