Chapter 6

(2 weeks later)
*Blaine POV*
It's been four weeks since the karofsky incident. Karofsky returns on Monday. I want to be able to protect Kurt and be with him all day, but I can't do that from Dalton academy. I have an idea and I already ran it pass the warblers and they're okay with it. I just have to run it past my parents since they're the ones paying for school. That's actually what I'm going to do right now. I'm on my way to my parents house to talk to them. Hopefully it goes okay. I arrive at the house and go up to the door. I knock and a few seconds later my mom opens it.

"Blaine what are you doing here? Unless you came to say you are over this boys phase then you have no business being here" she says

"No it's not a phase. But I do need to ask you and dad a question" I say

"Well your father is not home right now. What is it" she asks

"I want to change schools" I say

"What" she asks

"I don't want to go to the boarding school anymore. I want to go to a normal public school" I say

"It's because of your friend isn't it" she asks

"Kurt? Yes it is. I want to be with him and be there for him. Do you have a problem with that" I ask

"Yes I do. Now you are going to Dalton and that is final. Anyways if you went to a public school where would you stay because you are not going to live in mine and your fathers house" she says

"I don't need to live here. I have somewhere I can live" I say

"No. You are staying at Dalton" she says

"Mom why? I want to leave Dalton" I say

"Blaine, Dalton is safe for you." She says

"Yeah well I'm safe for Kurt. I need to protect him" I say

Before I know it I feel her hand connect with my cheek. I look at her one last time and then run to my car. I get in and drive to Burts tire shop. It's a Saturday but he should be there. I get out of my car and walk in. As soon as I walk in I spot Finn and Burt and head over to them.

"Hey Blaine" Finn smiles

"Hi" I say

"Uh Finn why don't you go and help Larry" Burt says

"Okay" Finn nods

Finn walks off and Burt and I go to his office.

"Who hit you" Burt asks

"It doesn't matter" I say

"Yes it does or you wouldn't have come here. Who hit you" he asks

"My mom" I whisper

"Blaine you need to speak up" Burt says

"It was mom. I was trying to get her to let me leave Dalton and go to McKinley and she got mad" I say

"Why would you want to leave Dalton" he asks

"I want to go to school with Kurt sir. I want to be able to protect him and be there for him and I can't do it if I'm at Dalton" I say

"Blaine I know you're not going to want to hear this, but you need to do what your mom is saying. She has say over what you do because she is your parent." He says

"I think I can maybe convince them to let me leave Dalton, but I need a place to stay so I can go to McKinley. I don't want to be a bother, but could I possibly stay at your house in the guest room?" I ask

"Blaine we're going to your parents house" he says

"Burt" I start

"No. We're going. You are going to drive us to the house and then you are going to let me talk" he says
