Chapter 13

(Next day)
*Blaine POV*
We just finished Glee club and now everyone is leaving. I don't move at all and I think Kurt noticed because he quickly says goodbye to Mercedes and Tina then comes over to me. He sits down next to me and we grab hands.

"You okay" he asks

"Yeah. I guess I'm just a little nervous" I say

"It's understandable. You sure you don't want me to drive you over to your parents and wait in the car" he ask

"I'll be fine Kurt. I already promised your dad that I would call him if something happened" I say

"Okay. Just please know I'm here for you" he says

"I know. And I'm here for you. Now I better get going so I'm not late for meeting them. You have a ride home right" I ask

"Yeah. Finn said he'd take me home. He apparently has a lot of homework to get done" he says

"Okay" I say

We share a kiss and then Kurt leaves. I grab my bag and head out as well. I go to my car, get in, and then drive off. I arrive to my oh so familiar childhood home and turn the car off. Just as I'm about to get out my phone rings. I look and see that it's mr. Hummel.

B-hi Mr. Hummel
M-hi Blaine. Are you okay
B-I'm okay. Did you need anything
M-I just wanted to remind you that you can call me if you need me
B-thank you mr. Hummel. I appreciate it. I'm actually just about to go to my parents front door
M-okay. Please text me or Kurt when you're on your way back so we know
B-will do

I end the call and go up to the house. I knock on the door and Cooper answers the door.

"Coop what are you doing here" I ask

"I came to visit little bro. I went to Dalton yesterday to see and they said you weren't there anymore. Mom and dad said you left there and the house" he says

"Yeah. I actually came to talk to them. They are here right? They said they'd be here" I say

"They're in the family room. Is everything okay Blaine" he asks

"I don't know Coop. Are we okay" I ask

"Well if all depends. Why did you drop out of Dalton" he asks

"I didn't like it there" I say

"Liar" he says

"Not really" I say

"Yes. That's not why you left" he says

"It partially is" I say

Before Cooper can say anything my dad and mom show up.

"Cooper leave Blaine alone. Now you can join us for the conversation or you can go do something to occupy yourself" my dad says

"I think I'll join you all" Cooper says

I inwardly groan and follow them to the family room. I sit on a chair and the others sit on the couch.

"How are you Blaine" my dad asks

"I'm good dad. Thank you for asking" I say

"How has school been" he asks

"Good. I've gotten good grades and I'm part of the glee club. We are actually preparing for nationals" I say

"That is very good news" my dad says

"Why did you come here Blaine? Are you coming crawling back to us because the Hummels don't care for you? Did they finally realize that you are a disappointment and they don't like the phase you are going through" my mom says
