Virgil gave him  a small smile then knocked on the door.

The two waited a couple seconds until the door opened. Revealing a tall man with a Large smile he had brown hair and down by his feet was two  small black  cats.

"Hello! Oh my gosh we don't really get visitors often. Are you lost?"

Virgil looked at Jan and Jan looked the man dead in the eye. "Look see this pencil, this marking matches that sign." He pointed to the pencil then the sign close to the door. The mans eyes went wide and welcomed them into his house.

Virgil was hesitant but one of the cats  were now rubbing against his leg and almost guiding him inside.

Jan walked in first and Virgil after then the man shut the door and turned to them. "That was dangerous, never go into a strangers house but I have info."

Virgil laughed nervously while Jan sat on a stool near the fireplace and one of the cats came and sat on his lap. He looked startled at first, he had never seen or touched a cat put they seemed like nice creatures.

"Oh, that's Tayln and that one there is Joan. Wait a sec, I should probably introduce myself, my names Thomas, He/him pronouns please!"

Virgil smiled, "What are joan and taylns genders?"

"Oh their both non-binary so They/them pronouns!"

"How did you find out their non-binary?"

"They told me!"

Virgil looked at the man like he was nuts while Joan looked at him for a couple seconds until suddenly a tiny flash of light appeared and joan was a human!?

They were wearing a beanie, white shirt and black trousers.

"Yeah bitch!" They smiled looked at Virgils shocked face.

"I- Wha.. WHAT!?"

They just smirked at him and walked over to Tayln who was now being petted by Jan. "Ay Tayln, cmon our secret has been found out!"

Tayln gave  a small  adorable hiss but quickly they transformed into a human  Janus and Virgil were both in shock but intrigued at the same time. For virgil it was like everything he knew was a lie he thought magic was a myth and an old dumb kids thing but turns out it very much is real.
