AFTER REESE GAVE her excuse on why she is late, we immediately talked business. Lucas pulled his laptop from his bag, Stephen, Bruce, and I fetch for our notepads ready to take notes. Only one was not doing anything, Ian.

"Ahem, earth to Ian, hello?" Reese irritatingly said. She has the look that can melt anyone she wants to destroy, we included. Her resting bitch face radiates pure intimidation, which caused us a lot of trouble back then. Deep inside, however, she is as soft as a marshmallow. The cornerstone of our group, our consultant, Reese Lim.

"Hey, idiot!" she hissed, which caught Ian's attention.

"I'm sorry. Yup, serious mode." Ian said with a smile on his face and turned back to us. Leaving the table beside us filled with Sophomore College girls giggling. Reese rolled her eyes and most of us shook our heads.

I coughed, "Anyway, back to what is important." I gave Ian the stare, and the idiot just shrugged. The bastard. "Lucas, can you set the timer 20 minutes?" I asked and he nodded. "Did everyone finished their assignment?" everyone said yes. "Let's hear your reports then."

Lucas spoke first, "I'm already inside the school's system. It wasn't easy, but I managed. I also listed for an organization called 'Minecraft Engineers' the admin rarely cares for those types of orgs." He was about to continue, but Stephen interrupted.

"Hold on. Why do you have to choose Minecraft?" he asked, clearly finding it funny.

Lucas sighed and tilted his chin to me. "Because he asked." They all looked at me with a questioning look.

"Well?" Bruce asked, waiting for an answer.

"I need him to be in an organization that requires and allows the usage of laptops or gadgets. But not so big of an organization that can easily raise suspicion from the inside." I huffed.

"That makes sense," Bruce replied. "Although I still can't believe that such an org exists." He laughed.

"And we still can't believe that you and your girlfriend had sex on the teacher's lounge back on tenth grade." I retorted.

"Hey! That was romantic shit, okay. That type of stuff is our kink," he defended. "Besides, the couches were very comfortable, if you know what I mean." He winked, making it more disgusting.

"Spare us your 50 shades of grey, Bruce, and start reporting. We don't have much time." Reese interjected.

"Fine!" Bruce sat up straight and opened his notepad. "Lucas gave me the records of those who got caught making projects for other people. There is none, which means that there is no competition at all, probably."

He closed his notepad and stared at me. "But, there is one problem." He and Reese exchanged glances, "Regarding the Student Organization plan. You were right there is no rule for running. Anyone can run for any position, but the highest recorded position a freshie once won was secretary. That's mine, but the president?" he looks at Reese.

"Attaining the position of president will be hard," Reese said firmly. We all grew silent. "However, there is a way to boost my reputation and increase my chances of winning." She said.

"Humor us then," I replied. Waiting for Reese's mysterious plan.

"The key is Ian," Reese deadpanned. "It sounds funny, but it is true. We need him to be, at least, the star of the basketball team." We all muttered curses under our breath. It's not as if we doubt, Ian. He is an amazing player, but being the star of a college team? That will take at least a year or so.

Ian, being so oblivious, as usual, laughed. "What's with the long faces guys?" he asked.

"Didn't you hear prince charming? Your task is impossible. We need to change our plans." Stephen exclaimed.

Ian snickered. "I'm already the captain ball. I broke our captain's ankle last try-out and I whooped everybody's asses. The coach was begging me to join them and be the captain ball." Ian proudly said, beaming as he flexes his biceps in front of us.

"What!?" we simultaneously shouted. Which made Ian laugh out loud.

"Well, that's nice. Then we can proceed to the next step then. Ian and I should date." Reese stated matter-of-factly. This time it was Ian's turn to be shocked.

"What!?" and then Lucas' timer rang.

Then just like that, like clockworks, the students gathered their belongings and went for their respective subjects leaving Ian and us dumbfounded and shocked.
