"How will you celebrate Valentine's Day ?"

I asked my aunt who was cooking in the kitchen. She immediately turned around and seemed shocked with my question.

Instead of answering, she questioned me back why I'm asking about this. So I pointed at the television to tell her.

I was watching cartoons before a shoujo anime came up. The anime was so cute though. Lovely characters and sweet interactions...but I didn't really understand the Valentine Day's part.

Why do people celebrate it? Are there different ways to celebrate it? Is it a special day?

I had a lot of questions in mind. I thought maybe my aunt would answer them but she was too busy. And I didn't ask again.

"Oh, so this is why you are asking me all of this?"

"Yup! I saw it in the news again today. That tomorrow is Valentine's Day."

"Hmm..I see why you suddenly brought it up."

Hyungie ruffles my hair. Hihi~ He is the best! I can always rely on him. He had told me to come to him whenever I needed or wanted anything. Or if I had to say or ask something. He is always there for me.

Hyungie is my favorite human ever.

We are sitting on one of the benches in the park, our favorite meeting spot. The sky is clear today. It's still a bit cold, but the scenty cool breezes are full of freshness. Spring is just a month away.

"So hyung, why and who celebrate this day?" I ask after a while. Hyung looks like he is thought for the answers. Huh? Does he not know either...

He hums for a moment before speaking, "As of I've heard, Valentine's Day is celebrated by people who love each other...to express their love? I guess."

People who love each other? But what type of love...Am I allowed to celebrate this day? In the anime I saw the girl wishing it to the boy character. I wonder if it applies to friends and relatives too.

Hyung studied my expression like he just knew what I was thinking about.
"It's mostly the couple-type of love which is prominent this day... " He looks up the sky, "..but I think, you can also use this day to express your gratitude to all your loved ones."

He suddenly turns his head, looking at me directly in the eye. My heart~

Hyungie is so beautiful. His face might be the finest I've ever seen. All his features are just perfect. From his eyes, nose, lips to the shape of his face and skin... so enchanting. I could see heavenly light shining out from him.

He is more towards the cute side now, but I'm sure he will grow up to be a very handsome man.

Whoever who gets to celebrate this couple-day with him must be so lucky.

Oh wait-hyungie said we can use this day to show love to our all loved ones. But Hyungie is my dearest loved one. Can I... Ugh.. Maybe I should...I'LL JUST ASK HIM.

I stare at him intensely, causing him to lift and nod his head in a questioning manner. "Hmm.. What is it?" He asks me in his calm soothing voice.

I plead him to tell me more about this day. He chuckles at my excitement. I'm so happy I could make him smile again. Hyungie's smile is the cutest. I could click a picture and treasure it in a photo frame forever.
