I rolled over to the mundane ringing of my phone, I thought I pressed snooze 20 minutes ago and I also thought I hung up on my mum. I look at my phone to see that Oliver is calling me. Why now?! My voice is so croaky and disgusting in the morning.
"Hey shortass! Time to get up."
I grumble at him down the phone to let him know the insult was not appreciated at this time in the morning.
"Oh stop complaining. Take it as a compliment, I'll meet you at the great hall in 10."
"What do you mean in 10 Oli!? I'm not even out of bed."
"Well then hurry up loser."
Aaaaaaand he hung up the phone.
WHAT. DO. I. DO?!
I literally jump out of bed real olympian style. I rush to the bathroom, straighten my hair and all the main necessities of hygiene. And TADA no makeup makeup routine, call me the makeup artist of 2018.
I kiss my parents picture goodbye, obviously forgetting my bag as i always do, and head to the great hall.
One trip out the door and a 4 minute sprint later and I arrive at my destination, greeted by a smirking Oliver clearly gaining pleasure from my stress.
"I... HATE... YOU!"
"Shut up wheezy, you should be thanking me."
"And why on God's green Earth would I be thanking you."
"Becauseeee I got you breakfast." He held in front of him a box of hash browns from the subway inside the garage.
"Omg how can I pay you back."
"Just get over here loser." and he pulled me into a hug. "A hello hug would have been nice you know."
"Get off me stupid."
I was awkwardly fine until I saw Draco, looking a lot better than last year might I add, walking hand in hand with a familiar face- Cho. I thought they broke up last year? Please don't tell me they're back together. Talk about rubbing it in much.
By this time Oliver had walked off with his group of guys, I hate being his secret friend, just because I'm younger it doesn't mean you need to be ashamed of me... does it? Well, at least he's happy I guess.
I walk to school alone until I see a smiling face from across the road. I literally ran across to hug her- Ginny, my best friend.
At the same time we release from the embrace Draco and Cho walk in the gates. Taylor gave me a puzzled look and I raised my eyebrows.
"Is that?" She gritted between her teeth.
"Mmmhmmmm." I nodded.
"And he's with?"
"Mhm." I sighed, not so enthusiastic this time though.
"How are you not upset girl, I would be so mad if that one slipped away."
"He won't be slipping into anything with that girl I'm telling you now."
"STOPPPP YOU CANNOT SAY THAT!!"
Well Ginny, you are in for a lot this year.
"I have a lot to catch you up on. Come on, the bells about to go."
